Chapter 222: Everyone goes with me! Dravena's last words
The tension in the air was palpable as uncertainty mingled with fear, leaving everyone on edge as they awaited the outcome of this monumental clash between two formidable figures of vampire society.
In the darkened sky above the vampire city, Damien unleashed his trump card, the Shining Blizzard: Winter's Tears. The air crackled with icy energy as he summoned the full force of his formidable abilities, channeling them into a devastating assault.
With each strike, Damien poured all of his strength and determination into the attack, aiming to break through Dravena's defenses and finally put an end to her madness. The frigid winds whipped around them, carrying the echoes of their fierce battle across the night sky.
Dravena, caught off guard by the ferocity of Damien's onslaught, struggled to defend herself against the relentless barrage of ice and frost. Her armor, still recovering from its cooldown period, offered little protection against the onslaught, leaving her vulnerable to Damien's relentless assault.
As Damien's fists connected with bone-chilling precision, he created a series of ice barriers behind Dravena, each one amplifying the force of his blows and sending her reeling through the air. With each punch, he pushed her further and further back, determined to drive her from the skies and bring an end to her dark ambitions once and for all.
Blood stained her face, as she struggled to contain Damien's rage. Up here he had the bigger advantage. She couldn't really do anything to him. He was all over her, throwing punches after punches.
She could feel her insides buckle from each hit. Somehow this form he had taken had tripled his strenght and it was frightening because the usual Damien was already plenty strong and too much to handle.
With each blow, she felt her once invincible armor falter, its protective barrier weakening against the onslaught.
"Impossible... he cannot defeat me!" she thought, her mind racing as she struggled to maintain her composure amidst the chaos. The realization dawned upon her that Damien's power surpassed even her most formidable defenses.
Fear clawed at the edges of her consciousness as she watched Damien inch ever closer to shattering her armor entirely. Desperation gnawed at her, her thoughts consumed by the dire consequences of her impending defeat.
"I cannot falter... I must not fail," Dravena's inner voice urged, a flicker of defiance igniting within her despite the overwhelming odds. Yet, deep down, she knew that Damien's relentless assault threatened to unravel everything she had fought so hard to protect.
With each punch, Damien's voice rang out like a clarion call, his words carrying the weight of his determination and resolve. "Do you now see? Do you see that you do not possess great strength alone, Dravena!" he thundered, his voice cutting through the night air.
As Damien's relentless assault battered her defenses, panic surged through Dravena's mind like a tidal wave. Every bone-jarring impact sent shockwaves of fear rippling through her being, each blow driving her closer to the brink of oblivion.
"I can't... I won't let him defeat me," she thought desperately, her mind a whirlwind of frantic calculations as she fought to stave off the inevitable. Yet, with each passing moment, Damien's relentless onslaught threatened to overwhelm her.
Desperation clawed at the edges of her consciousness, her thoughts consumed by the looming specter of defeat. The once impenetrable armor that had shielded her from harm now felt like little more than a fragile shell, its protective barrier crumbling beneath the relentless assault.
"I have to... I must find a way to stop him," Dravena's inner voice cried out, a note of desperation creeping into her thoughts as she struggled to hold back the tide of Damien's relentless onslaught. Yet, with each passing moment, the realization grew ever clearer: she was fighting a losing battle against an opponent whose power far surpassed her own.
Grasping Dravena by the throat, Damien continued his onslaught, landing blow after punishing blow with unyielding precision. Each strike reverberated through the night, shaking the very foundations of the city below.
As the snowflakes continued to fall, Damien unleashed his full fury on Dravena. However, too much of the same move would eventually be read by a seasoned fighter like Dravena, and this came in the form of a punch which she blocked, although it completely mangled her arm. But it gave her enough time to poke her fingers into Damien's eyes.
"Argh!!" Damien yelled out, his attacks stopping immediately as he favored his eyes. Dravena, by then, was already falling from the sky.
Not every vampire could fly, and unfortunately, she was one.
She watched as Damien's figure above her increasingly got smaller.
Was she really going to fall from this height? She was plenty durable, but she doubted she would survive it. However, it didn't seem like she could do anything about it as she plummeted to the ground.
As Dravena crashed into the ground, a massive crater formed beneath her, sending dust and debris flying in all directions. Damien descended slowly towards the crash site, his heart pounding with anticipation and uncertainty.
As he approached, he heard a chuckle emanating from the dust-clouded pit. With cautious steps, Damien peered through the settling dust and saw Dravena lying on her back, blood dripping from her mouth.
Drawing closer, Damien watched as Dravena struggled to speak, her words punctuated by coughs.Dravena coughed, blood dripping from her mouth as she struggled to speak. "If I'm going out, then I'm taking everyone with me," she rasped, a sinister smile playing on her lips.
A chilling smile graced her lips, and Damien's eyes widened as he realized her armor had finished its cooldown period, now fully operational again.
With a sinking feeling, Damien watched as Dravena closed her eyes, her armor beginning to vibrate ominously. The ground trembled beneath him as debris began to shift and stones moved of their own accord.Soon, from the first to the fifth castle, everyone could feel the vibrations coursing through the city
With a satisfied smirk, Dravena watched Damien's expression shift from smug confidence to pure horror as he realized the magnitude of what she was about to unleash upon the city.
Damien approached cautiously, his voice laced with urgency. "Dravena, stop this madness!"
But Dravena's laughter filled the air as she closed her eyes, her armor beginning to vibrate ominously. "It's too late, Damien," she chuckled. "It's already begun."
Dravena's smirk widened with satisfaction as she lay on the ground, her eyes gleaming with triumph. "Looks like I win," she taunted, her voice filled with smug satisfaction. She watched Damien's helpless expression with glee, reveling in her moment of victory.
