251 Chapter 250: Dealing with loose ends

“Save your breath, you will find no sympathy with these people” Crystal hissed at the approaching trio with cruel looks in her eyes.

As the empire was built the three embarked on large-scale massacres in the name of the death mage. They have gone against powerful foes and weak ones but they all have one thing in common.

No one has come in contact with these three and survived….

That’s why they are called the angels of death…

“Even then, we cannot let them take our lives so easily. We deserve to live too!” Kaido coughed up more blood.

Hmph!

Blink snorted disdainfully as his indifferent gaze turned to that of disgust and pure hatred.

“Just about a decade ago, numerous hosts were murdered and hunted down like dogs. You all have always been a part of the hunt. Regardless of their words or pleas, it’s unfair when you suffer the same fate. Hypocrites!” Blink hissed as he played with the silver daggers in his hands.

His intentions to attack were obvious, he just seemed a bit patient to finish his speech before making his move.

.....

The duo was rendered speechless by his words because they couldn’t deny it or justify their actions. Blink is actually right after giving it some thought. If they could keep Damon and the other hosts on the run for no crime at all, why should they complain when experiencing the same?

In fact, if one should think about it, they had no right to complain, they could only stand and do what they could to survive.

Thud!

Thud!

Kaido and Crystal slowly staggered to their feet with a new resolve in their eyes. Now everything has been made clear to them, they can only do the needful and fight for survival.

“There it is… that’s the look I want to see in your face before you die,” Blink said indifferently before shooting forward.

.... Outside the empire, Northern forces...…..

A middle-aged Draconian with fiery red hair and dressed in red robes stood beside a black-haired man in dark robes but with a shield attached to his hand. The shield had the face of a screaming lady.

“Otis, God of shield… Our enemies seem to be bold enough to have squabbles even in our presence…. I feel disrespected” Falkor said with a cold look in his eyes.

He truly found it disrespectful that they gathered the most powerful force ever to be formed in this world and yet these new beings dare not take them seriously?

“I was going to wait for orders but I’m feeling agitated…. Make your move, I will support you and minimize losses should something go wrong” Otis said casually with a wave of his hand, dismissing the matter almost instantly.

Falkor smiled at this reply and then turned his attention to the flying empire.

“I will like to see what they can do with my own eyes!” Falkor answered before his body shot towards the heavens. He intended to meet the enemy head-on in battle rather than using his army.

“As expected of a mere dragon… they are easy to read and their intentions are always made bare to both friends and foes. I feel more insulted that I need to work with such savages” Otis snorted in distaste as he looked at the moving body of the ancestral dragon of destruction.

...…..Meanwhile...….

Damon stood in mid-air with pitch-black eyes. Slowly the chaotic empire suddenly calmed down and everyone frowned. The image of the son moon and stars appeared behind him, looming over him like a guardian. The three began spinning in a circular motion as they fused to become one.

Boom!

Damon’s aura exploded violently as his power surged far and wide. Gerald held on to Dillian’s corpse while the rest could only gaze at him with pale looks on their faces.

Boom!

The entire empire trembled as the blue barrier shook drastically, even Damon was stunned when he realized that the enemy dares to attack with this much power while he is distracted.

“Now this matter has been dealt with, I suggest you aid me in battle using your fancy gadgets and formations since we have no other choice but to protect our empire…. For the sake of our future, you must do as I say” Damon’s eyes revealed cruel lights and everyone frowned. They have never been dragged into something this complicated before.

No one would have thought Damon would make such a bold move in their presence, does he not care about their relationship in the future?

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

Damon’s laughter filled the sky as his body seemed to phase with space and time and he vanished almost instantly.

...…..

Bang!

Green lightning struck the ground as countless black clouds began gathering and a lone figure appeared in the northern part of the empire. His cold gaze fell on the dragon on destruction who stood coldly with his robes fluttering in the wind. The level of confidence in the eyes of this man was just too terrifying to be ignored.

Even as Damon appeared he remained unmoved and unphased by his presence.

“You finally come out to die?” The ancestral dragon of destruction bellowed and Damon shot him an indifferent glance on his face.

Contrary to everyone’s expectations, Damon ignored Falkor and shifted his attention to the figure not even bothering to look at him within the sea of soldiers below. His eyes shone with interest as he spotted the real problem within the enemy forces and chuckled.

As soon as he launched an all-out attack on this part of the enemy forces, the rest will panic and grow disorderly. The question is simple, does he have what it takes to get past the God of shield and the ancestral dragon of destruction?

His figure loomed over the enemy forces as darkness began pouring out of his body, surging drastically as it surrounded the entire empire in mere seconds.

“Since you all have come here to die, don’t take it to heart when I send you off in a rude manner,” Damon said coldly.
