Chapter 252 - 252 Chapter 251: Death of Sol

252 Chapter 251: Death of Sol

The thought of losing his position and life to this kid who merely inherited his power was frightening and right now he felt the arms of death embracing him.

How can death embrace death?

Blasphemy!

Sol’s mind was in so much turmoil and denial it exploded and he went into what can be considered a crazed state. He lost all form of reasoning and lashed out at Damon!

Shadow magic: shadow blade!

His palm attack shot forward like a blade, tearing through space itself as it slashed at Damon!

Bam!

Damon caught his hand almost effortlessly and snapped it.

Crack!

.....

Gaaaah!

Sol let out a painful cry but Damon wouldn’t even let his cries go beyond the walls of the room.

Pa!

Damon grabbed him by the neck and pulled him off the ground.

“I WILL KILL YOU!” Sol bellowed as he controlled the world power and world chains lashed out at Damon from all sides but before they could reach Damon he had created a wall of world power around them, stopping the world chains from reaching them.

“Dramatic” Damon commented with a distasteful look on his face.

Buzzz!

A suction force exploded from his body as he began and began pulling Sol’s soul. While the old gods have lived as they reached the stage of Godhood, they had their main body in the higher plane of existence but these new gods have only attained the level of a demigod and have never lived long enough to become new gods. In the end, they didn’t have a good body and were nothing more than roaming souls.

“You! No, wait, please….” Sol’s painful cry resonated across the room and hallways.

.........…..

Huff!

Gin frowned as he manipulated the formation to reinforce the barrier surrounding the floating empire. At the moment they were currently being bombarded from all sides heavily by the enemy.

It seems after finding out that there was a small squabble between them and Damon, the enemy took the opportunity to start their attack and things weren’t looking good.

The death of the cosmic spirit hosts will most likely lower the morale of their soldiers and to make things worse Damon still had no plans of helping.

“DAMN IT!” Cyrus was furious but helpless.

Right now it is certain no one can stand against Damon unless they join hands and go against him but that’s not possible especially since they have a war to win first and even if they should find a way to miraculously win it they won’t be in a condition to fight him.

This is a checkmate….

“We didn’t steal his people from him and have them pray to us, he let us have them because he anticipated this day would come. What’s better than having us obligated to protect these people while he can swoop in at any time and reap the benefits? This is a plan set in motion for a long time now… we thought we were the ones playing him but we are the ones being played all this while” Elsa said with a pale look on her face.

They soon remembered that when they were younger, even though Damon’s death magic was their trump card, he was always amongst those coming up with their plans and tactics. His domineering act is just a shield to divert attention from his scheming mind and it seemed to have worked on them.

“Let’s deal with this issue at hand first. We will think of a way to deal with him later” Gin said calmly as his body Levitated off the ground once more and he began controlling the magic towers.

Swoosh!

The magic towers surrounding the empire lit up and barrages of mana beams risked down on the enemy forces.

The war had begun!

For the entire day, the two sides exchanged blows but only the old gods sustained damage. They lost over ten thousand soldiers in one night but comparing that number to their original number was like taking a cup of water out of a stream.

They had nothing to fear.

.... Midnight, Enemy general camp meeting....

In a massive tent were three different tables placed around each other with the leaders of the allied forces present. At one corner was Atlas, the ancestral dragon of storm, Falkor the ancestral dragon of destruction, Ducalian the ancestral dragon of life and death, and Sid, the ancestral dragon of nature.

Meanwhile on the table was Otis, the God of shield, Iris the goddess of bow, Belial, the God of sword, and Rose, the goddess of the spear. The final corner meant the cosmic spirits were empty and the room was deadly silent compared to the joyful emotion in the camp.

“The death mage was able to see through our intentions and eliminated the hosts before we could make use of them. If only he waited till these hosts met the formation controller in person, we would have made our move and killed off Gin.

“That man in the blood mountain is troublesome but I think the main problem we should focus on has to do with the Gin… the formation he put in place is amazing since it depends on him as its source of power which is almost limitless making it impossible to shatter, that’s why we are the only ones taking damage,” Iris said with a frown.

“We can simply join hands and create a joint attack that will overwhelm Gin and shatter the barrier in an instant. Since he is linked to the formation he will get hurt as well….” Sid suggested and everyone nodded outside Ducalian who had been oddly quiet and pale.

Everyone looked at him with a confused look as they have never seen an ancestral dragon so flustered.

“What’s wrong?” Atlas asked with a frown. He was the closest to Ducalian so he took the initiative to ask.

“Sol is dead, his soul consumed….” Ducalian answered hastily as if he wants to say it quickly so that no one outside the room would hear it.

Buzzz!

Sol is dead!
