Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 487 Surpassed the Record

Chapter 487 Surpassed the Record

It was then that Matthew stopped feeling them.

He raised his hand to the Sword and drew it into his hands.

He turned it over and looked at it. It had blood stains on several sides, and an inscription was laid out there. Still, he could not activate it.

At that moment, Gray and Jack came to him. At which point Matthew sighed.

"Dead? Alive or too far away? I can't answer those questions. But if they are alive, when I manage to get within a close radius of them, I will be able to sense them unless they have a way to neutralize the bloody inscriptions." He spoke.

Gray frowned and raised his hand to his axe, also bringing it to his hand. His Axe had important mechanisms as well. "They used a curse to flee, but could a curse have that much range? What the hell are curses exactly?" He looked at Matthew, hoping he had an answer.

After all, he came from the ancient era, didn't he? And Dietrich was the creator of the Forbidden Libraries, the place where those Curses came from. Technically, Matthew should have information about it.

But, the truth is, he had no information about anything.

'I don't understand why my mind has so many gaps, but I guess I'll figure it out little by little.' He could only shake his head at his questions.

Gray then turned them around. "How did you figure out that they had escaped? Even I couldn't feel them."

Matthew looked at him. "Because of the blood that came out of there. I told you before I fought them both a while ago. I managed to wound them and make them run away, and thanks to that, I was able to analyze the blood from both of them. When the blood came out of that explosion, I realized it wasn't theirs.

Surely, they used some trick or treasure to exchange places with the puppets or something like that. Even I'm not sure how they did it."

"And the skill?"

Matthew shrugged at that question. "Little things to find them."

Gray sighed. "That stuck, and while I wanted everyone to know about you, I didn't expect you to show so much of your power. No, I must say I was surprised. I could sense that you already have over 100,000 Power..." Gray let out a long sigh and shook his head.

"Forget it, I won't try to predict a Dietrich."

Then he turned and looked into the distance.

"Let's see what happened in that explosion. I still need to know how they managed to get away from that final attack. Those bastards won't get away that easily." He spoke. His transformation had ended when he threw his axe earlier, so his body had returned to its standard size. However, his clothes were torn from the growth of his muscles.

Matthew and Jack followed him. When they arrived, the Library Elder was examining some things.

When he saw them coming, he nodded to them and looked at Gray.

"Look." He said and showed him a small scroll.

It had nothing written on it, but Gray frowned. "This is a fine human treasure. What was imbued here?"

"I don't know. It was used during the explosion; besides, look over there."

At the place where he pointed, there were two emaciated and bloody heads.

Those heads did not belong to unknown persons and made Gray frown. "This is troublesome. Even the Leaders of 2 Main Clans were under that guy's control."

"It's hard to tell how deep they've gone."

Gray and his father frowned, but Matthew wasn't worried about it. It was something he expected.

"Just exterminate those clans; most, if not all of them, have this little thing." He said and pulled out a dagger.

"The Unifying Curse Dagger? Do you have one of those things?" Gray asked, in shock, and Matthew smiled.

"I've been researching them a bit. I have a collection of them." He said, pulling out over 25 daggers to show them. "See? I got to see what makes it awesome." Matthew said.

Gray frowned but nodded a little. "Let's get the city in order first, then think about the rest." He said and then looked at Jack. "Get Martin, tell him it's time for a kill."

When he saw Jack disappear, Gray looked up and around the different regions of the city.

Powerful people watched him in the distance, and others were still fighting, causing the City of Clans, once a majestic city, to be in ruins.

Almost the entire central region of the city had been destroyed, with few buildings left standing and those that might soon be destroyed. The city built to withstand large-scale battles could not withstand when the real battle came to it.

Still, Gray looked down on this. He focused his attention on the people of the Independent Clans and raised his voice.

"My Clan Allen said. The traitors in the City of Clans will be eradicated. My Clan is only cleansing the world of the trash. If you Independent Clans still want to follow in the footsteps of Dietrich, then it is time for you to choose sides. I will only tell you: You have the probability of achieving the greatest desire of an Independent Clan. Choose wisely and stay out of my way."

After saying this, he jumped up high and again drew his axe, putting it on his shoulder. "The Clan City Leaders and their exalted Councilors, along with various Academic and Main Clans, betrayed the race; that's why my Clan Allen, who has always fought against those bastards, decided to come out of seclusion."

"It is time for the whole world to know our power. I don't care if you support me or not; as long as you have not betrayed the race, you are assured of life unless you get in my way. But for you traitorous bastards, one by one, my Clan will hunt you down."

"Whether you are an Academic Clan, an Independent Clan... Or a Vampiric Clan, I will bury you all. Whether you are mutant or Heir, whether you carry True Ancestral Blood or not, if you betray the race, I will destroy you, just as I destroyed the Exalted Leaders of the City of Clans."

In the end, Gray Allen smiled and threw his axe in the direction of a particular Clan Academic. "And I'll start with you guys."

This Clan was already in a terrible state from the battle they had had to fight; this made them descend into the deep darkness of losing all hope.

The threat wasn't just coming from Gray; Murphy backed him up. But somehow, the attention of everyone watching that battle was on Matthew.

Matthew Dietrich, a name that, it seemed, could resonate around the world. The power shown today, perhaps those watching via the broadcast wouldn't notice, but among those present... Who wouldn't notice that Matthew Dietrich was over 100,000 Power?

He has surpassed Gray Allen's Record with an absurd lead.

The Heir's growth rate seemed to lag several rungs behind. But who was he?

Matthew smiled a little at this. 'It looks like it's time for my name to resonate again worldwide. It will be heard in every corner and region of this world. And I know it will reach you, Charlotte. I wonder how your plans are coming along? Because mine are doing very well.'

Matthew turned away from the place where the killing would take place and entered the Main Mansion.

As soon as he did, he let out a gush of blood from his mouth, and pain hit his body. He pulled off the top of his clothes and frowned.

'I still can't control that thing, and now it seems more complicated. Tsk.'

His back was injured; he had a deep wound, in fact. Still, he knew that deep wounds like that would heal. It might take a while, but it's not a problem.

He put his clothes back on and started walking.

But suddenly, a voice caught his attention.

"Matt!"

Matthew frowned. 'Isla?'

He turned his face to see that, through the center door, came Isla running in at high speed and lunged at him.
