Chapter 1325 You Scared Me

Kelvin did not realize it when Kisa and Gilbert came over.

He stared absentmindedly at a particular spot, muttering to himself. No one knew what he was saying.

He looked like he had not slept well last night. The dark circles under his eyes were very obvious, making him look exhausted and listless.

Kisa subconsciously looked at Gilbert, “Did he rob someone last night?”

Gilbert shook his head, “Who knows?”

As he said that, he walked toward Kelvin and patted his shoulder.

Kelvin was shocked and suddenly screamed loudly, almost falling from his chair.

Kisa, standing at the side, puzzledly stared at him, “What are you doing? Why such a dramatic reaction?”

“What are you guys doing? Why did you suddenly pat my shoulder? You scared me.”

Gilbert coldly grunted, “Did you do something bad last night?”

“You tell me!”

Kelvin pulled their hands as they sat down. He softly said to them, “There’s something wrong with this house. Dang, I was scared so badly last night.”

Kisa and Gilbert looked at each other for a moment.

They were confused.

Kelvin looked around as he lowered his voice, “I had nightmares last night. They were some weird dreams about ghosts. I was so frightened that I woke up in the middle of the night a few times. And after I woke up a few times, I couldn’t go back to sleep anymore. I kept feeling like there were ghosts in the room. I’d have gone to your room last night, but I felt like I would be disturbing the two of you. Oh my god, I told you, this Mullen residence is scary! So f*cking scary!”

Kisa suddenly had goosebumps as she heard what Kelvin said.

She subconsciously looked at Gilbert.

Gilbert frowned. He had a doubtful, solemn look.

“Why did you two both have nightmares? What’s wrong?”

Kelvin put his hands around his chest. He was fearful and frustrated as he said, “Anyway, I feel that there’s something wrong with this house. It’s spooky. If it weren’t because I promised Mr. and Mrs. Mullen Sr. that I’d stay at their house to treat Ms. Mullen’s legs, I’d have f*cking left by now and just stayed in a hotel.”

Kisa looked serious as she asked Kelvin, “What did you dream of? Was it a garden and a woman’s back?”

Kelvin shook his head, “I didn’t dream of a garden. But there was a female ghost with ruffled hair floating in the air. Tsk, I have goosebumps just thinking about it now.”

Kisa was increasingly confused.

‘Why did Kelvin have a similar nightmare to mine? And how come Gilbert isn’t getting these dreams at all? What’s going on?’

She said to Kelvin, “How about you stay here for a few more days and see if you’ll have nightmares like this for the next few days? For the past three nights, I’ve been having the same nightmare over and over. The scenarios and the characters were the same in all the dreams. It’s eerie and honestly terrifying.”

Kelvin was stunned, “You had nightmares too?”

“Yes. I brought her to see you because I wanted to ask you if what happened to her was some kind of mental illness,” Gilbert explained.

Kelvin scratched the back of his head as he chuckled, “I’m not very familiar with mental illness.”

Kisa twisted her lips, “You said you were an all-rounder.”

“Yes. A general category all-rounder.”

Kisa was speechless and amused.

Gilbert sighed, “If so, I can only bring her to visit a psychologist.”

Kelvin frowned as he said, “Actually, it might not be a mental illness. After all, Kisa wasn’t traumatized recently. Her mental condition was normal too.”

“If it isn’t a mental issue, why would she constantly and repeatedly have the same nightmare?” Gilbert asked in a low voice.

Kelvin gave it some thought, before looking like he had come up with something.
