Chapter 1026 You Passed Out

Before Sharon could touch Kisa, she was sent flying and crashed into a prop on the side. Silence fell over the entire studio as everyone was stunned by what had happened.

Kisa stared dumbfounded at the man who appeared out of nowhere. It was Gilbert. Wasn’t he still unconscious at home? She looked at him and forgot what to say for a moment.

“Which one of you hit me?” Sharon cursed as she got up from the ground. But when she saw it was Gilbert, she shut up instantly and looked at him in fear.

Gilbert did not even look at her, as his eyes were focused on Kisa.

Just then, the director hurriedly ran to them. “What’s going on here?” He glanced at Kisa and Gilbert, and then at Sharon. After that, the director said to Sharon with disgust, “How are you going to continue filming when your face looks like that? Never mind, we will shoot the scenes of the supporting characters today. All the main cast artists can take the day off.”

“It’s not my-”

Sharon was just about to defend herself when the director scurried away after greeting Gilbert. Everyone else at the scene looked at her as if she was a clown. “Why are you here?” After a long silence, Kisa asked Gilbert, who had a strange expression on his face. She wondered if he still remembered what had happened in that room last night.

“Let’s go.” Gilbert suddenly took her hand and led her outside the studio.

His hand felt thick and warm in her hand. Kisa looked at it and was in a trance for a moment. She heard chatters behind her. It sounded like voices filled with envy for her.

“Wow, Mr. Kooper is so gentle with Ms. Becker.”

“Yeah. He said in an interview earlier that Ms. Becker is his only wife. This shows that he really loves her.”

“Absolutely. Some people are just clowns. They’re obviously a nobody in Mr. Kooper’s eyes, yet they still act so condescendingly. It’s so disgusting to watch.”

“Who are you talking about, b*tch?”

“Whoever responds is the one I’m talking about.”

Sharon got into another fight with the rest of the crew. Kisa followed Gilbert and left the studio as he escorted her to the car. Only then she found peace of mind.

After they got in the car, Kisa asked in puzzlement, “Tell me, what brought you here?”

“I woke up, and I didn’t see you. So, I came over to look for you.”

“Mhm.” Kisa nodded her head but did not dare to mention what happened in the room last night.

Despite that, he mentioned it. “Did something happen to me last night? Didn’t we steal Grandma’s keys to open the door to that room? What happened after that?”

Kisa was surprised. She did not expect that Gilbert would have no memory of what happened and what he saw in that room last night. Kisa thought for a moment and said, “Nothing happened. We just tripped and fell, and you passed out. And, that alerted your grandma.”

“I fell?” Gilbert obviously did not believe it. “I not only fell but also went unconscious?”

“Yeah, you see, I also fell and hit my head trying to give you a hand, and I now have grown a bump on my forehead because of that,” Kisa said, and she pointed out the bump on her forehead to him.

Gilbert frowned. “So, how did I fall so hard that it knocked me out?”

“Y–You fell on the back of your head.”
