Chapter 1100 Don’t Do It Again

“Can you not tell Anthony about my pregnancy?”

Kisa smiled self-deprecatingly. “Don’t worry. From now on, your business is none of my business. I will mention it to no one.” With that, she walked outside without looking back.

The glass door reflected Lea’s sad and crying face. Such is love in the world-it is not always possible to have both love and friendship. Since Lea had chosen love, she had to sacrifice her friendship with Kisa. After breaking off their friendship, she would not feel too bad when Anthony made her hurt Kisa next time.

When Kisa came out of the restaurant, she felt terribly sad. She suddenly remembered the time in Kerrona Hill, where Lea asked her to see the snow and almost got her killed on the snowy mountain. ‘It must be Anthony who asked Lea to do that. She didn’t expect that by doing so, it could have killed me, did she?’ Kisa had once suspected Lea because of that incident, but she did not expect that Lea was working for Anthony. Apart from the Kerrona Hill incident, she had no idea what else Lea had done to her. Lea divulged nothing when she asked, and it seemed that Lea was very faithful to Anthony.

It was dark when she arrived back at the Kooper residence, completely exhausted. Kisa had just gotten out of the car when someone suddenly approached her. She looked up and saw that it was Gilbert.

“Where the hell have you been? You didn’t answer the phone, and I went to the studio to look for you, but you weren’t there. The next time you disappear like this again, I’ll really get angry,” Gilbert growled and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly.

Clearly sensing his nervousness and fear, Kisa said, “I-I just went for a walk. I’m not a kid, I-”

“But, I hate it when I can’t find you.” Gilbert buried his head in the nape of her neck, smelling her scent before his uneasiness gradually faded. The feeling of not being able to find her panicked and scared him. He wanted to be able to see her all the time so that he could feel at ease. “Don’t do it again.” He hugged her for a long time before letting her go. “When I call you next time, you have to answer. If it’s inconvenient for you to answer, you can text me. Otherwise, I will be worried.”

Speaking of the phone, Kisa then remembered that she had turned the phone on silent mode, as she feared that she would be discovered by Anthony and Lea in the restaurant earlier. After that, when she talked to Lea, she forgot to turn off the silent mode. She was touched to see Gilbert’s serious and worried face.

She pursed her lips. “Sorry, I accidentally muted the phone.”

Gilbert could not bring himself to keep reproaching her when he saw the weariness on her face. He held her hand tightly and said, “No next time.” Then, he asked her, “Have you had dinner?”

Kisa shook her head.

“I haven’t had dinner either. What would you like to eat? I’ll make it for you.” He smiled as he led her into the house.

“Ma’am, you’re back.”

“Ma’am, where have you been? Daddy has been worrying about you.”

The children came up at once when they walked into the house, giving Kisa a touch of warmth in this late autumn night.

Ada pulled at her and said, “Ma’am, Daddy was so worried that he even lost his appetite and was just about to go out and look for you.”

Kisa looked at Gilbert.

He patted her on the shoulder. “Go sit down. I will make you something to eat.”

Kisa suddenly pulled at him.
