While Kisa was a celebrity actress, high-society women like Ms. Reyes looked down on people like her.
Even though she was the wife of GK Pictures’s CEO and Gilbert Kooper’s wife, she was still born and bred in Calthon and did not frequent Athadale. That was why many did not know or recognize her.

She crossed her arms and arrogantly said, “You want to slap me? Do you know who I am? A lowly barmaid like you two want me to apologize? You think too highly of yourselves!”
“Will you apologize or not?” Kisa asked coldly. Her tone was filled with iciness and hostility.
Ms. Reyes was startled for a moment before she smiled arrogantly. “You lowly b*tch. You want me, the eldest daughter of the Reyes family, to apologize? Dream on!”

Right after Ms. Reyes finished talking, Kisa promptly lifted her hand and slapped her.
Ms. Reyes was in a daze after the slap.
When she realized what had happened, her face was instantly contorted with anger. “You lowly b*tch! How dare you slap me?! I’m going to rip your face apart!”
Ms. Reyes said as she pounced at Kisa.
Kisa raised her foot and knocked Ms. Reyes to the ground.
‘Thankfully, Gilbert gave me this pair of espadrilles. Otherwise, I would’ve been at a disadvantage fighting on the grass,’ Kisa thought.
Lea tugged on Kisa’s arm fearfully and urged, “Forget it, Kisa. Let’s go.”
“Go?” Kisa turned to her. She asked in a low voice, “She wanted to teach you a lesson. Do you think you can just leave? Backing away will only encourage her.”

‘I know my boundaries. Gilbert, Felicity, and Davian are at this banquet, so Gilbert will back me up if I cross Ms. Reyes. That’s why I’m not scared,’ Kisa thought.
