‘Isn’t that Arthur? I have been looking for him.’ Kisa felt that she would know more about David at the Mullen residence. So, she wanted to stay there no matter what.
In the meantime, Arthur also seemed to be looking for her. When he saw Kisa, he ran toward her,
and Kisa got up to meet him.
Gilbert frowned, wondering why Kisa’s eyes lit up when she saw the guy. ‘Does she have a crush on that guy?’ With a sulky thought in mind, he looked straight at Kisa with a pair of fiery eyes.
Felicity also glanced at the guy and was surprised. “Hey, isn’t that the handsome guy who Kisa chased after at the airport yesterday?”
Gilbert’s face sank even further. “Kisa chased after him?”
“Ahh, yeah, yeah.” Felicity froze, wondering if she had said something wrong.
Gilbert was so angry that he laughed. “How?”
“Uh…” Felicity subconsciously glanced at Davian, hesitating to say anything. But, Davian was staring at her with a curious look on his face. Felicity felt like she wanted to roll her eyes at the gossipy, big man.
“Tell me, how did she chase after him?” Gilbert asked absently, but his eyes were glancing coldly
at Kisa.
Felicity pursed her lips and then said, “She was just running after him. But, don’t misunderstand. Look at that handsome guy; he looks so young, and maybe he’s just a college student. Kisa won’t
like him.”
“Don’t mature women like you like handsome college students?” Davian made an ill-timed comment with a slightly jealous tone.
Felicity felt like she wanted to slap him to death. “I think it’s the other way around. Old men like you like innocent schoolgirls, don’t you?”
Davian was upset. “Mr. Kooper and I aren’t old. We are in our prime, okay?”
“Compared to young guys, you two are old.”
“What are they talking about? They look so happy.” Gilbert suddenly asked grimly, just as Felicity and Davian were arguing.
Felicity subconsciously turned and saw that Kisa and the handsome guy were chatting under the eaves by the side door of the villa. There was a distance from there, so they could not really hear what the two were saying.
“When did she know a guy like that?” Gilbert’s face was grim.
“I think they met on the plane. They should-
“Just one time on the plane, and they are already this close? Since when did Kisa start having love at first sight?”
“Ummm…” Felicity kept her mouth shut and decided that it was better not to say anything at all.
The way Gilbert thinks is just too scary. It’s obvious that there’s nothing going on between Kisa and that handsome guy, but he insists on saying otherwise.”
Under the eaves, Arthur said to Kisa with a smile on his face, “I came home that day and realized that my crystal pendant was missing. I searched high and low, and I couldn’t find it. It turns out, you found it.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Kisa nodded with a smile.
“Can you give it back to me? The pendant is very important to me,” Arthur added.
“Definitely. But, can you promise me one condition?”
“Sure, I will pay whatever amount of money you ask for.”
Seeing the young man’s generosity, Kisa could not help but giggle and shook her head. “I don’t want money. I just want to stay at your house for a few days.”
