Vol. 6 - Chapter 304 - First Dungeon Week Kickoff! Meeting Time!
It was the day after I had a heated discussion with Dean over ‹Job Transfer›. Time was near the end of May, Saturday 25th.
It was the dungeon week opening from today!
We were already in the 4th week of the month and normally dungeon week should have taken place in 3rd week but May is when freshmen are still learning the ropes in their first classes, so the dungeon week was thus shifted to the last week for students to raise their level till Lv10 to challenge beginners dungeon.
Long short story; it was the start of a 9 day long break from classes so that students can challenge the dungeon and raise their levels from today!
I charged into the guild room with the 'It's full force dungeon attack time' feeling bubbling inside my chest.
"Howdy everyone! Isn't today's weather rather lovely? Rather, it's indeed very lovely weather! Just a sublime morning to welcome the curtain opening on this wonderful dungeon week!"
"Good morning Zephyr! Let's enjoy the dungeon to our heart's content!"
"And what about you Lana?"
"Of course I'm also excited!"
Lana greeted me in return with equally high spirit when I entered guild ‹Eden› and shouted my greeting in high voice.
Well of course, that was the charm of the dungeon. It was the universal truth.
We're not going to have any classes for the 9 days; it was like a mini summer vacation.
I did feel a bit empty that we will not have a class for a while but it was also wonderful that we can use our time fully for the dungeon.
Clap
Lana and I gave a high-five to each other in excitement. Just then Sierra started talking with a sharp gaze.
"Calm down yourself for god's sake. You will just tire yourself at this rate, what will you do then?"
"It's fine, I know you may say this but you will still come to help me out!"
"...... Keep it in limit to not cause trouble to others."
Saying that, Sierra turned her face but I still noticed slight reddening of her ears.
In the end, she will still help me out, was what her reaction meant.
But it's strange, since when did Sierra awakened to be a tsundere? No wait, she looked less prickly than kuudere I guess? Nonetheless, it was a cute reaction.
"Anyway, I heard you seemed to have caused a commotion again yesterday."
"Oh, Lulu and Celia, good morning. It's fine weather, isn't it?"
I was just thinking of teasing Sierra a bit more when her expression returned back to her usual stoic self with a sharp gaze. I quickly made my way towards Lulu and Celia to escape from her sermon.
But, tomorrow? I didn't do anything rash yesterday though. I may not but somehow I felt I would be caught in another of her sermons if I replied.
Rina, who had just entered the guild room, called out to me when I was exchanging greetings with Lulu and Celia.
"Good morning Zephyr-san, please guide me today as well."
"Oh, Rina. Good morning. Prepare yourself as I will not show any leniency today."
"Understood! It's the thing Zephyr-san will be teaching me, I will do my best!"
I'm going to party with Rina today.
It has been two weeks since she has acquired ‹Master-Planner Princess› job, her training has been going just well with the ‹Strongest Training Manual› and she has also raised her level to 23 in the meantime.
However it was me who didn't have much time, being caught up in various things recently, that I didn't teach her anything these days.
This is a serious situation.
My plan was to teach her about dungeon or guild battles within my capabilities so that she can become ? being an advisor might be too much for now ? a capable leader.
Besides, there was that item that had dropped from ‹Perfect Beauty-4 Phenomenon› after our grind with ‹Electric Bear-cum-Squirrel›.
So I'm going to take her along with me and hold a study meeting. Dungeon Edition Study Meeting to be more precise.
I started today's meeting since everyone seemed to have gathered while I was going through greetings round.
Though Sierra never stopped with her sharp gaze, but It should be fine, probably. At Least there will be no more sermon for now I think.
"Today's the deadline for collecting the final materials of rare boss ‹Shaman Marionette› in ‹Dean's Quest›. I'm counting on you guys today as well, Sierra, Hannah, Lulu, Celia and Pamela."
"Leave it to us."
"Yes!"
"We will blast out that rare boss!"
"Understood!"
"I will do my best-desu!"
I will not be joining in today's subjugation of ‹Shaman Marionette› and left the matter to Sierra and others.
I kept the party the same from last week. They were already splendid in their work and had gathered a lot of ‹Bamboo Puppet› materials. There's no way I'm going to join their party at the last moment and steal their effort. Besides, their party was fairly strong.
"I will pass you the flutes, Sierra so no need to hold back."
"Alright. I will contact you if something happens."
"I'm leaving it to you. As for me, I am going to have a study meeting with Rina, and rest of members will be?"
"I am taking the rest of the girls with me to hunt the cactus or mushroom! We will then challenge some other Int-low dungeons once Shizu reaches Lv40."
It seems like Lana already has plans to form a party with Karua, Rika, Shizu and Ester and help out Shizu in leveling.
Shizu's level was still at 38 since I had asked her to help out Rina last week. A few boss fights would be enough for her to reach Lv40, which was the requirement for Int-low dungeons, and with Ester's support, they should have plenty of time to do other things.
"Okay. But be careful since I will not be there to help out. But you want to challenge Int-low dungeons? Have you already thought which one you're going to?"
"Karua is joining us so it's fine! And we will be marching on the upper floors of Deno? Dinosaur's hill and Rokumori Thundering trees dungeon to warm up for tomorrow! I also want to see Shizu's new skill. I think we will also fight the F-Boss of 10th floor since we're going there."
Lana struggled to spell out the word 'Dinosaur', well that was a familiar relatable sight. It's easy to fumble out on spelling the word. It had been jokingly called ‹Fast-Talking Dungeon› in the game.
Anyway, Lana's party goal is to warm up for tomorrow huh.
I have already passed Shizu her job's ‹Strongest Training Manual› but I guess Lana's not in mood to take it slow and quickly wants to see her skills. Her eyes were smoldering with excitement.
"Ahem, This concludes the plan for everyone."
The last one left was Celestine but he was absent due to some work apparently.
He is a diligent person but I'm quite worried about his level which was lower amongst all, if I exclude Rina. I made up my mind to help him out next time.
"Alright then, the meeting is over!"
This concludes today's plan.
While contemplating letting her learn the ropes about leadership from ‹Wolves›, I took Rina with me to the dungeon.
