Chapter 190 Expel
Chapter 190 Expel
"A ton of gold?"
Hearing that she would also be given 1 ton of gold, even an Isabel changed her expression.
However, due to a certain thing, her expression quickly became strange.
She stared at Owen's face, like she wanted to laugh at him.
Then, she said, "it seems like you guys are really worried about me, who is just this woman without partner. Unfortunately, you are wrong if you think I am tempted by 1 ton of gold."
"Don't worry, it's just a starting bid, you can raise the amount," Owen replied, still with a smile.
"How about 1000 tons?" Isabel replied, mentioning a number that made the expressions of the two men in front of her turn deathly pale.
"Hmm, looks like you guys can't give me what I want... Well, it's time for you to get out of here!"
BANG!
She closed the door and then shouted, "Jade, make sure they leave or I'll fire you!"
After saying that, she rushed over to Arthur while Owen's screams echoed.
"Isabel, don't eat more than you can chew, you will definitely regret this. If you fall into my hands, I'm sure you'll be begging for mercy every minute."
Pa!
"Ouch, girl, how dare you? Do you know who this man is?"
"Tell me who you are and believe me even if you're the president's son, I'll still kill you right here if you threaten Mrs. Isabel one more time!"
"..."

The commotion outside did not last long. Jade was truly a dedicated military member, ready to protect Isabel from anyone.
Isabel who originally wanted to talk to Arthur looked at the door and sighed.
She seemed to be increasingly admiring and liking Jade.
"Aunt, do you think that man knows about my magic?" Arthur asked, he just wanted a confirmation.
Of course, the Armstrong Family had most likely already obtained records about him through the God Eye Organization.
Although the family was based in Europe, their influence in America was almost as great, so it was likely that they were also the controllers of the organization.
It's just that, the way that man (Owen) acted was a bit strange, like he thought they were really just normal humans.
"That man is good at pretending, so anything about him is hard to predict," Isabel replied.
"However, I'm sure when he talks about gold, it's from the gold we found." Isabel's lips broke into a wide smile.
There was no woman who didn't like those shiny things and she was no exception.
If she wasn't already a magus, her heart would probably be quite shaken.
"Wait, mom, what do you mean by the gold you found?" Carla quickly asked.
Isabel glanced at her and laughed. "Unfortunately, you're not a magus, so you can't come with us tonight, you can only see the results tomorrow."
"What do you mean?" Carla became confused.
"Hehehehe..." Isabel laughed again, not explaining more.
"Arthur, are we leaving now?" She asked Arthur.
The latter nodded.
"Okay, wait for me to change first." Isabel immediately ran to the stairs as she was only wearing a casual dress.
In the end, Carla looked at Arthur, showing an expression of wanting an explanation.
"The point is we found the Armstrong Family's gold, and tonight we're going to steal it. It's estimated at 20 to 25 tons..." Arthur chose to tell her for fear of stressing the girl out of curiosity.
Instantly, the girl's mouth opened. Her eyes went blank, as if she was imagining how much gold would weigh.
Right after that, Isabel finally came again, dressed in the same clothes as last night.
She looked at Carla who was still standing beside Arthur and said, "go back to your room and start practicing!"
Carla glanced at her mother, frowning slightly before stepping onto the stairs.
"Alright, let's go," Isabel said once again. She picked up her car key that was on the sofa table and headed out the door with Arthur.

Rose, Hunter, and the others were waiting in front of an old hotel that was deserted tonight.
They were loitering there, like men who had nothing to do.
Plus, their faces looked scary, so people avoided them, making the hotel manager unhappy because he thought they were the reason people weren't entering his hotel.
Unfortunately he didn't dare to swat them either. He could only hope they left as soon as possible.
When they saw Isabel's car, they immediately gathered, making the manager happy as they seemed to be leaving soon.
Arthur opened the window beside him, watching Hunter and the others.
They looked stronger than the last time he saw them.
It was just that, there were quite a few of them, he thought it was too conspicuous.
"Where are your vehicles?" Arthur asked them as he didn't see any cars that might belong to them around.
"Boss, that's our vehicle," Robin replied while pointing in a certain direction but with his eyes glancing at Isabel who was driving.
He and the other men seemed fascinated with Isabel.
With their age, Isabel was indeed more suited to their interests.
Of course, Isabel did not glance at them at all. She acted as if they didn't exist because she really didn't like looking at hordes of men. Plus, she had just been pissed off by a man.
Arthur stared at the location pointed out by Robin and found a huge truck, even bigger than a container transport truck.
He had seen it but didn't think it was theirs. He wondered where to get it.
And he felt strange thinking about most of these men riding on the tailgate of that truck.
"Alright, let's go!" He then looked at Rose who was standing behind Hunter and the others. She was carrying a large bag that seemed to contain electronic equipment.
"You're coming with us," he told her.
Rose nodded. As Hunter and the others cleared the way for her, she climbed into the rear passenger seat of the car.
After closing the door, she gave Isabel a curious look.
It was their first meeting, but she already knew about her even before she met Arthur.
She wanted to greet her, but wasn't sure how to say it because from the start, Isabel's gaze was fixed forward.
