Chapter 490: Aftermath
As he was watching his life pass through his eyes, Tianlong Yun couldn't deny that the scene in front of him was more than amazing.
He was watching two white roaring bolts of lightning falling directly over his head, as a pure white color spread through the whole sky, and came crushing upon him.
Whoever looked at the scene from afar would think that Heavens were showering someone with their favor and luck.
Tianlong Yun just stood in his place and looked at that amazing pure crackling white as it came crashing on his head.
At the moment of the contact, he felt a strangely warm, and comfortable sensation pass through his head, and then his lights were completely shut.
To the outside world for a moment there was total silence, then the powerful noise of the lightning crashing in the ground, it was probably even more powerful than the sound of a nuclear explosion.
It had at least 10 times the power of one, and it was concentrated in a really small area, making it even more frightening.
Tianlong Yun was able to stand only for 1 second under that terrifying power, as the next second before he could even think of screaming from pain, his body had disintegrated.
The only good thing about the situation was that the lightning didn't last for long, and in less than 3 seconds it had discharged all its power.
It was unbelievable, to everyone looking with their eyes it looked like it was some kind of illusion or dream.
Such a horrifyingly powerful white lightning bolt had descended in less than 3 seconds. The results of that were devastation.
Complete devastation!
The environment around the place seemed to have been totally dried up of any kind of energy, and any other particle.
In just those 3 seconds, the whole area of 1000 kilometers around Tianlong Yun's standing location had turned into a deep pit, and vacuum.
If that wasn't shocking enough, the next instant, that vacuum started to get filled at an amazing speed, as all kinds of different color vortexes appeared in there.
The view grew more and more amazing with each passing moment, but the audience looking at it wasn't that appreciative of it.
Their souls were shivering and trembling at that view in fear. None of them who were watching thought that they would be able to escape that, none of them.
In fact, they felt like their existence itself would be erased in there, and at that moment. They wouldn't even be able to enter the reincarnation circle again.
They were all powerhouses that would be treated with respect, and fear wherever they went. Even if they went to an enemy territory people didn't dare to take action against them easily.
Wherever they went, whenever they went, they would always be treated as top guests. Their life was so much higher than other people of their own race.
With the passing of time they had grown used to their lifestyle, and treatment as they had even forgotten their mortality.
It was true that they still had many years to live, but at that moment they were all remained of death, and what it entailed.
Even the strongest powerhouse feared death, its own body deterioration, even though the Soul cultivators were different, even they had limits.
After passing through many different bodies their Soul Avatars started to slowly get disturbed and then lose the idea of reality.
Either that, or they would create multiple personalities and lose sight of unity, and at the end would end up completely disfigured.
This scene reminded each and every one of the people in the audience of their most dreadful thought. Death!
For this reason, it was obvious that they wouldn't appreciate the scene at all. In fact, they all felt that this was a bad omen, it wouldn't bring anything good that was for sure.
As they all thought like that, the vortices had started calming down as the place was regaining its calm, in the new look.
Looking at this now, no one would have ever thought that no longer than a few months ago this place was a big forest, that no one dared to enter.
And right now, all that was left was just a deep, and big pit in the ground, that was really close to the abyss. Everyone could feel a chill going through their backs when they tried to look at the bottom of it.
One thought was unanimous though, there was no way someone could ever escape alive from that thing, so they considered everyone in there deader than dead.
Now the new problem appearing in front of them was who should be the one to enter first in the new abyss in order to see if they could find anything in there.
Fortunately, greed made people quickly forget about dangers as both sides immediately sent their teams down there.
But that wasn't all, this situation had disturbed the peace of far too many figures, as the whole Soul Land seemed to unite together against the Intruders, in order to get their hands on the Inheritance.
Since they were so focused on the inheritance, the matter of cultivators from Earth being in their territory passed on the second plan.
Most of the barrier fortresses were left in peace and quiet, as some of the local lords even started making deals with the cultivators from Earth.
Certainly, even the cultivators from Earth weren't left behind, as the moment they would have a chance they would use their opportunities to buy some locals.
Not all the local cultivators knew of Earth, and the cunningness of its denizens, as many of them were lied by the world on the other hand.
A free and rich life, women, power, wealth, were too attractive for people that had lived all their life under the tutelage and control of their Lords and Monarchs.
If one could compare the Soul Land with Earth, it would be the time of feudalism, and Monarchies, where the minority controlled the majority in open view.
The same thing could be said for the Soul Land now. The people of the high society were controlling all the resources in this place, and even their distribution.
If it wasn't necessary for their population, the high society would most probably even forbid the marriage or intimate relationship of people in the low society.
still, it wasn't like they had much freedom either, as nobles, and lords would always play with the members or their family in front of them, a weird hobby they had.
So, the words of the demons from another world were more than attractive to the low society members, who were even promised new and mystic cultivation techniques.
They would be able to join a new free world and cultivate in the ways of the demons that came disturbing them every century.
To people who had suffered their whole life, and hadn't seen a shiny day in their lives these promises were like handing coal in a cold winter day, so even though hesitantly many of them accepted.
The cultivators from Earth didn't really know what they were trying to get, they only knew that whatever it was it should be worth it, one look at the locals was enough for them to understand it.
But they had a different approach to the situation from the Locals. As locals were doing everything they could to explore the place and investigate what had happened.
The cultivators from Earth were spreading their networks, spies, and worms across the whole Soul Land.
In order to make the situation even worse than already was, they even started poisoning the land, water, or food of the Soul Land people.
In less than a month the first rebellions started in some provinces of Soul Land, as slaves, and low society started killing and pillaging their upper echelons.
The Lords and Kings of the place reacted just like their Earthling counterparts reacted during the rebellions, as they started killing, and crushing every rebellion by force.
They wanted to show their clear strength to everyone who dared to do it again and especially to those fu*cking foreigners that were messing a bit too much.
After handing them one finger, these guys were aiming for the whole hand. They needed to be reminded that they weren't the owners in this place, and their lives were on their hands.
Crushing the rebellions though had too many downsides to the economy and survival conditions of the people in the Soul Land.
Right now the passageway to Earth had been blocked and they would have to wait for more than 100 years to resupply their slaves' reserves.
Either that or they continue the war with the Earthlings inside at the moment, in order to replenish their stock.
They had already been too patient with them, and seeing that they had no idea of staying quiet and peaceful, at the end of the second week of the second month from Heaven's Rage, a new war began.
This time the cultivators from Earth weren't entrapped in the barrier fortresses, this time they all had created their own dominions.
There were people from each power in the outside world, each and every one of them had created their own dominion.
But in order to win, they had decided to unite against the bore and ruthless rulers of Soul Land, fighting together in one front.
As the war outside the new Heaven's Rage abyss continued inside the abyss, in the deepest, and darkest corner of it, suddenly a human shadow found something.
It was dusted sharp sword, or to be more exact it was a dusted saber. The moment he took it in his hand the shadow waved it just one time, as swishing sounds were generated, and all the dust fell from the sword.
He was shocked because that old rusty saber, had suddenly turned into a shiny, and sharp weapon. Just what kind of sword was this!?
Fearing that someone might look at him finding it he was about to put it on his space ring when suddenly his body went dry
