Chapter 213
Chapter 213
213 You did what to his future Marshal?
Zi Han sneered as the man drew a laser handgun and pointed it at him exuding killing intent.
“Psht, yes keep smiling like a clown. When they find you they will say at least you died happy,” he said with a smirk on his face like he had won already.
With a gentle squeeze, he pulled the trigger, and a sharp-pitched blue laser shot in Zi Han’s direction aiming straight for his heart.
Zi Han’s pupils dilated as he dodged the laser beam powerful enough to blow a hole through his chest.
The muzzle of the laser gun followed him as he rolled onto the ground dodging the deadly shots being sent his way.
His heart beating in his ears Zi Han grabbed a handful of sand from the ground and flung it at the man’s eyes.
The man grimaced as he staggered backward while cursing. “Fuck, did you have to use such dirty means?” he said as he rubbed his eyes. Zi Han took advantage of his weakness and lunged forward to land a blow.
Despite being partially blinded the man was still so vigilant. As Zi Han’s arm flew straight at his face the man grasped the boy’s arm and with a powerful force he slammed him to the ground before straightening his back with a loud sigh.
Zi Han was in pain but he was far from giving up. He could feel something wrong with his body. It was like his strength was disappearing and reappearing in intervals. It was as though two opposing forces were fighting over control with one telling him to lie down and the other itching for a fight.
.....
While the man had his back to him Zi Han grabbed a sharp dagger hidden underneath his suit on his ankle and slashed the man’s achilles heel. Blood splattered on the ground and the man limped around his expression grim.
“AH shit!... You little piece of,” he shouted as he grabbed the dagger in Zi Han’s hand and threw it away. With a loud clatter, the dagger fell but Zi Han had no time to pick it up again.
That’s because the man clutched his collar and punched him hard in the face repeatedly. Zi Han’s ears were ringing with a sharp stinging pain in between his eyes blurring his vision. He felt a warm wet sensation on his face and the taste of copper at the tip of his tongue but he was resilient.
He grasped the man’s fist and pushed his body back. Because the man’s mental power was more superior to his, Zi Han struggled very hard to free himself from the man’s iron-like grip.
His muscles trembling and his breathing stagnant he pushed the man away with the veins on his arm throbbing as they bulged through his skin.
Zi Han put all his strength into his leg and kicked the man so hard that he fell a few feet away. While the man was lying on the ground grunting in pain Zi Han rolled to his stomach and struggled to get up. But because he had been struck repeatedly in the face his head was buzzing and everything was spinning.
He bit his lower lip hard trying to keep himself awake. His face covered in blood he struggled to crawl with one of his arms constantly reaching to grab the dagger.
As his fingertips touched the hilt of the dagger he felt a heavy weight fall on his body. He was forcibly turned around and the man straddled him as he yet again punched Zi Han in the face while calling him a son of a bitch.
Zi Han gritted his teeth with his hand still stretched out to grab the dagger. Soon he grasped the hilt of the dagger and ruthlessly stabbed it straight into the man’s thigh. As blood trickled from the wound Zi Han withdrew the blade and stabbed him again.
The man growled in pain like a beast as he grasped Zi Han’s wrist almost breaking it. Zi Han bit his lip even harder but he didn’t let go. In fact, he wanted to stab him again. Tired of this cockroach that just wouldn’t die, the man punched Zi Han extremely hard this time that he saw stars.
The man got up and spat on Zi Han his chest rising and falling violently. “You! Piece! Of! Shit!” he said with each kick he landed on Zi Han’s abdomen. Zi Han curled up on the ground enduring the intense pain.
When the kicks ceased, Zi Han coughed vehemently spitting out a mouthful of blood.
When his eyes focused he saw the man limping toward something. He watched the man who appeared in doubles at this point pick up his handgun and limp back before pointing it at him with trembling hands.
“I should ask for an increase... you are a much more difficult fucker to deal with than the Yi kid. *Pei.... fuck,” he swore spitting out blood after having bit his cheek hard.
Hearing this Zi Han’s eyes widened as his body froze in place. “You... you did what?” he asked as he secretly took out something from the interspatial storage on his wrist.
The man didn’t even care what he was doing at this point because with one bullet in between Zi Han’s eyes he would have won. He didn’t care about the client’s request to make it look like an accident.
That kid was beyond B rank. If he was truly B-ranked this fight should have ended as soon as it began so yep.... he couldn’t even give a damn about what the prime minister asked him to do at this point.
“You heard me. Hahahahaha.... I bet he won’t even get off this planet alive..... and so won’t you,” he said aiming the gun at Zi Han’s head, “let’s make sure you get a closed casket funeral.”
After saying this Zi Han showed a fearful expression shaking like a leaf with tears at the corners of his eyes. Was his short life truly going to end like this? This was simply heartbreaking.
The man showed a smug expression as he pulled the trigger. With a loud bang, a bullet shot through flesh followed by light whimpers and a body tumbling to the ground.
“Hmm.... this is why I think I can make a much better actor than a soldier. Uh, my performance was truly convincing, right?” said Zi Han getting up from the ground.
Because his body was getting affected by the poison his steps were slow and heavy. He eventually reached the man and sat beside him while continuing to say,
“You see.... my weapons are tailor-made for me. You are in this line of business so you should have heard about gene-activated weapons.”
