Chapter 463
Chapter 463
463 Yi Chen the deadbeat father
The man was dragged back and the ground soon disappeared into the temple. Yi Chen knew of this person. She was what the others referred to as the red devil.
If she locked her eyes on you your life would inevitably be turned upside down. She was quite ruthless in her attacks and she was also wholly devoted to the order of the stor f?niks. It was part of her identity.
“She is essentially the high priest’s right hand,” said Yi Chen and Zi Han turned to look at him his thoughts unknown.
“Have you been in the temple?” asked Zi Han and Yi Chen who had once gone in under Mi Mi’s influence froze. He had refused several times but when he heard an offering to this stor f?niks
would protect his loved ones he was convinced.
He burnt four sticks of incense asking the stor f?niks to protect his wife as they embark on the journey to find him.
It turns out that the offering worked and his wife was standing right next to him safe and sound. Maybe he should offer a sacrifice next time and ask that his wife should never leave him.
Zi Han who had no idea what he was thinking would have laughed if he found out. This so called stor f?niks didn’t exist at all. It was just a means to control people and give them a purpose in life. One could go as far as saying it was a way to give them a false sense of hope which was very wrong.
“I did go there once and the layout is quite intricate,” said Yi Chen but Zi Han Han stopped him.
.....
“That won’t be a problem. I just need to get close enough to scan the building so I know where we should go,” he said and Yi Chen immediately volunteered himself.
“I will do it. You just stay here,” he said but Zi Han’s expression was a little complicated. He didn’t want his lover to go alone neither would he let him.
“Let’s go together. Maybe we can pray to the almighty stor f?niks to bless us with ten children,” he said with a sly quirk at the corner of his lips. He was curious to see if Yi Chen’s response would remain the same as before.
As expected Yi Chen refused immediately. “No, I don’t like sharing. I don’t want to share you with anyone,” he said and Zi Han laughed finding it very amusing. This man would never change even when his brain was broken.
“Too late. You already share me with two of our children. By the way... what kind of father are you that you don’t even remember your children,” he said as they walked down the stairs of the building.
Yi Chen had asked an elderly woman he had fixed a radio for before to use her roof. Because Yi Chen didn’t charge her a single cent she was more than happy to let him use the roof. Heck, even if he wanted to borrow her house he would hand him the keys. To her, Yi Chen was a very nice person.
“Uh. Chen, you have children?” asked the old lady as she walked over at a snail’s pace her entire body being stabilised by a walker.
“Yes, he does. Two of them. He is a deadbeat father,” said Zi Han and the old lady couldn’t believe it.
She pointed at Yi Chen with her trembling hand and scolded angrily, “I know you are a nice young man. You should take care of your children.”
Yi Chen, “...”
He didn’t remember squat but even he knew in his heart that he didn’t have babies. “I don’t have children... yet. Neither do I want them. My wife is just messing with you Mrs Wayback,” said Yi Chen while pinching the side of Zi Han’s waist.
Zi Han jolted and moved away before further dirtying Yi Chen’s name and dragging it through the mud.
“You.... this is the attitude he put up when it’s time to buy diapers and milk he, he says he has no children. Mrs Wayback, please talk to mmmmm mmhmm,” he hummed at the end because Yi Chen had covered his mouth stopping him from speaking.
“Sorry, Mrs Wayback. We have to go. And he is lying. Please don’t listen to him,” he said before dragging his lover outside the house.
Of course, she knew he was lying. He was married to a man so where would the children come from? She just played along because she was bored.
On the other hand, the pair had left the house and were currently walking outside in the busy streets.
“If you keep talking I will really give you a baby,” said Yi Chen his voice stern but the quirk at the corner of his lips said otherwise.
Zi Han chortled before saying, “You wish. My physiology itself prevents that. I need a womb for that and I am a man.”
Yi Chen draped his arm around Zi Han’s shoulder and said, “Then I will die trying. I will sow my seeds inside of you every day and who knows? Maybe a miracle could happen.”
“Oh my god, where the fuck did you hear that. Who calls semen seeds besides who said you will be doing the sowing? I am the one who sows in this relationship,” he said his meaning obvious.
Yi Chen who didn’t care about it pulled him even closer before whispering, “Then you should do me every day, and maybe we will get lucky.”
Zi Han, “...”
Just imagining that picture made him feel some type of way that his face flushed. He couldn’t imagine himself pressing Yi Chen down. He wasn’t brave enough for that at all.
He shoved Yi Chen away while sticking out his tongue at him. Anyone who would see their interaction would go blind from the dog food. Lovers bickering on the street was something rarely seen.
Just as Yi Chen caught up Zi Han’s path was suddenly blocked and the black robed man said, “Sir, come with us.”
Before Zi Han could even respond someone held his arm and was about to pull him away when Yi Chen grabbed the man by his neck his eyes bloodthirsty like he was going to kill him. Who did this person think he was grasping his lover’s arm like that? He had definitely messed with the wrong boyfriend.
