The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 477

Chapter 477

477 Igneous snitching on everybody

He also thought he was the type to marry the moment their relationship was established but it turns out not. He had plucked cabbage leaves from other people’s garden but didn’t take responsibility.

Igneous who was in the mood to snitch said, “It’s not the Marshal’s fault. It’s the former Marshal... and the young sir was forced to dump him.” Today it was going to tattle on everybody. Even Miss Zi was also included on that list. Whoever interfered with the young sir’s love life was going to be named.

Hearing this Yi Chen’s face have turned ugly. He didn’t even put to mind the title Marshal. All he heard was the word dumped. Did Zi Han dump him? There was no way he would let that happen.

“That ungrateful bastard. What? Does your father think my son isn’t good enough for you?...” he asked with steam almost coming out of his ears seething in anger.

“Yes and he was also afraid the delicate balance of power in the federation would be tipped if they got together,” said Igneous.

Yeoh Jun’s reaction spoke volumes. He kicked debris on the floor till it crashed into the wall and shattered to bits before saying,

“Is this why I gave up power?... as long as they left my family alone I wouldn’t interfere yet they bullied little Han Han while I was gone?... And you, why are you answering for him? Doesn’t he have a voice?”

“Uh... sir... he lost his memories. The only thing he remembers is that he had a wife. He found himself here because he was looking for you,” replied Igneous almost shivering in fright. It forgot how terrifying Yeoh Jun was when someone touched his bottom line and his bottom line was Zi Xingxi and Zi Han.

“It’s all that bastard’s fault. Go drag him here for me. I have a score to settle with him,” he said and Yi Chen hesitated for a while.

.....

Sensing his reluctance to leave Zi Han, Yeoh Jun pushed his almost silver hair back and said, “I will watch him.”

Yi Chen nodded his head and left in large strides. Hearing what the man said he couldn’t feel at ease. He feared that Zi Han’s father would take his wife away so he had to hurry.

While he was gone, Yeoh Jun took a closer look at his son and his chest tightened. All the things he had been looking forward to had been robbed from him.

The first smile while his tiny hand wrapped around his finger, his first dada, his first steps... all of it was robbed. He didn’t get to take his son to daycare while holding his little hand. He didn’t get to be that one parent in the audience dancing the rehearsed steps along with his son on stage.

He didn’t get to hear about his son’s first crush or defend him after his first fight. Heck, he didn’t even get to deal with his son’s grumpy teenage phase. They took it all from him out of their own selfishness.Yeoh Jun clenched his jaw tightly suppressing the raging beast within.

“I am sorry,” he whispered with his palm pressing on the glass, “Pa, is very sorry.”

Meanwhile, Yi Chen had found the culprit. He was trying to crawl out of the rubble with a trail of blood from his lacerated leg.

Yi Chen stared at him with a look of disgust in his eyes. From the strong and brutal pressure in the air he knew someone was behind him but he didn’t care. He kept crawling away dragging himself out of the debris.

“Where do you think you are going?” asked Yi Chen but apart from pained breathing and grunts there wasn’t any response.

Yi Chen sneered before walking over and grabbing his arm. Yeoh Lang suddenly put up some resistance drawing an old fashioned pistol. Before he could even aim it at Yi Chen it was knocked out of his hand and Yi Chen confiscated it. “Nice try but you are no match for me,” said Yi Chen as he twisted Yeoh Lang’s arm behind his back and grabbed his hair pulling his head back.

Yeoh Lang glared at him with blood seeping down his face from a forehead injury. He looked like he had survived a bloody battle in the trenches but in truth, his broken body was all a result of one throw by this madman.

Gnashing his teeth in anger he swore, “Fuck you.”

Yi Chen arched his brow and said, “Still so spirited... that’s good. I can’t wait to fucking break you.”

Yeoh Lang tried to struggle but finding it useless he spat on Yi Chen’s face.

Yi Chen managed to dodge but the disgust overwhelmed him so much that he couldn’t help but give Yeoh Lang a hard slap that he so stars as he tumbled to the ground.

That slap was no joke considering this person had an SS rank mental power. The only reason why he was still breathing was because Yi Chen permitted it.

Yi Chen dragged him back by his hair before slamming him hard on the ground. Because of his nature, he couldn’t stand the disgust so much so that he kicked him several times in retaliation, and from the looks of it he didn’t restrain himself. He kicked hard on Yeoh Lang’s head and the broken leg venting it all out.

Four kicks in and he pushed back the strands of hair blocking his eyes before taking a step away.

“Feel better now?” asked Yeoh Jun and Yi Chen nodded his head. He felt a whole lot better though in truth he wanted to strangle this person to death.

Yeoh Lang cried out in anguish barely moving but none of them gave him the time of day. He knew what awaited him but his hatred made him want to fight. He glared at the two of them with his blood filled eyes like a fiend stalking its prey.

He was about to curse at them once more when he heard the sound of priestess Fan’s voice. She had brought the people back telling them that their saviour had been found and if they wanted their lives to change for the better they would have to express their grievances to him before the federation took him away.

After that, the entire city came back and now they stood atop the rubble of the temple staring at the three men with different expressions on their faces.

She had decided to follow that man’s advice earlier and ask instead of plunder. She sincerely hoped he would take pity on them and help them.
