Seeing William bounce back, Brittany was also happy for him.
On the weekend, she asked William out to dinner.

She pulled out a box from her bag and pushed it towards William, “I got this from the church the other day. Keep it with you.”
She felt she owed William a lot and hoped that the rest of his life could go smoothly.
William opened the box to find a red bracelet. He carefully examined it. His eyes sparkled and a smile flashed across his face as he replied, “Thank you.”
He didn’t hide his fondness for the bracelet and carefully put it away, “I’ll keep it with me.”
Brittany felt a tug at her heartstrings, “You’ve lost a lot of weight too. Take care of yourself.”
“I know.” William had indeed lost a lot of weight. He had been eating as much as possible, hoping to get back to his former state as soon as possible.
He pulled out a document and pushed it in front of Brittany.
“Take a look.”
Brittany had a bad feeling about that and shook her head, “I don’t want to see it.”
William insisted, “Open it.”
Brittany still refuséd.
He opened the document himself and said, “Your previous investment in the Dillion Group has helped us a lot, and we all appreciate it. I know you gave me all the shares to make up for me, but I don’t want them.”

Brittany looked at the share transfer contract and was silent for a moment, “Can you keep these shares for me for now?”
William seemed gentle, but his heart was full of determination.
