The Blue Eyes

Chapter 248 - COME BACK TO ME?

Chapter 248 - COME BACK TO ME?

Kevin arrived at his house at 7 PM. He had a serious discussion with Jack and the rest in the orphanage, and he came back to the house with Casper because the young soldier offered to give him a ride.

Kevin originally wanted to call a cab because he didn't want to bother the bald soldier, but the said soldier insisted that it was okay for him to drop Kevin in his house. Perhaps Casper was worried about the young scientist who looked so messy after Kris left him in the orphanage earlier.

Opening the front door, Kevin then took off his shoes before switching the lights on. The bright lights greeted his blue eyes, and he could see that the house was empty. His fiance was not home.

Kevin sighed as he realized that his fiance was still outside because the said fiance was too upset with him. He couldn't even guess where his fiance was right now, but he believed that his fiance would come back later.

Kevin's mind was still tangled, but he had some ideas in his mind now when his fiance was not home. Seeing the positive side of his fiance's absence in the house, he immediately headed to his shared room with Kris.

He and Kris were sharing a room, and all Kris's personal belongings were in the room. He wanted to do something now when his lover was not around, and it was such a good opportunity for him.

He opened the door to his room and immediately stepped into the room. His target was the desk in the room where his and Kris's laptop sitting side by side there. He ignored his laptop and immediately opened the lid of his fiance's laptop, and he was immediately greeted by the sign-in interface of the high-end laptop.

Kris never hid any secrets from him, and the taller guy even told him his laptop password. The password was his birth date.

Kris loved him so much to the point he would use his birthday for any devices that required passwords. Kevin had scolded the tanned man for doing such a childish act, but the man would only shrug without changing the passwords.

A small smile flashed on his face as he typed in the password of the silver laptop. A second later, he successfully got full access to his fiance's laptop. Now he was thankful because Kris still used his birthday as the password.

Even though he knew the password of Kris's laptop, it was the first time for him to use the tanned man's laptop. He knew that Kris only used the laptop to play games, so he never felt the need to access the laptop before tonight.

He was not even sure that the thing he was looking for was in the silver laptop, but he still wanted to give it a try. He quickly searched through the documents, and suddenly he found a file that seemed to contain the information he needed.

Kevin glanced at the door for fear of Kris suddenly arriving at the house. Kris was mad at him, and if the taller man found out that he was looking for something on the laptop, that man would be angrier for sure.

Taking a deep breath, Kevin then opened the file and scanned the pages inside the file. It was the file of the bodyguards' identity. Even if Kris had seen the guards as his brothers, he still wrote formal documents for them, and even signed some documents with them to make their cooperation strong under the law.

The pair of cerulean eyes continued to scan the pages, and they stopped when they found the information needed. It was Steve's email address.

Luke asked for Steve's email address, and he would share the address with the grey-haired colleague so that his colleague could find more information from the account.

After getting the information he needed, he then memorized the account before shutting down the laptop again. He was worried that Kris would come back anytime and catch him in the act.

Heaving a relieved sigh, he then fished out his phone from the pants pocket and dialed a number. He pressed his phone to his left ear as he waited for the person to answer his call. Thankfully, the person immediately answered the call.

"Yes, Kevin?"

"Sorry for disturbing you, Luke. I just want to let you know that I've found Steve's email account. Can I send the email to you later?"

Luke was the one who said that he would be able to find more information about Steve using the email account, so he immediately informed his colleague about his finding.

"Did you ask Kris about the account? Your boyfriend has returned to your house?"

Luke questioned him about his fiance, and Kevin's face turned gloomy again. "I found the email account on Kris's laptop. Kris didn't know about it because he's not home now," he replied as he brought his legs toward the bed.

He was tired, and he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Kris is not home? You aren't looking for him outside?" Luke questioned him again.

"Even if Kris is angry with me, I believe he won't leave me for too long, Luke. He cares about me and always wants to protect me, so I'm sure he will come back to me later."

Kevin was so positive. Kris might be angry at him, but Kris wouldn't hate him. Kris loved him, and that man would come back to him for sure.

He could hear Luke sigh the next second. "I hope your intuition is right," he commented. "But if he doesn't come back tonight, then you should let me know. I will help you to find him."

Luke was sincere to him, and Kevin thanked the green-eyed colleague before hanging up the phone. He sighed again after putting the phone on the nightstand.

"You will come back to me, right, Kris?"

Kevin was confident, and he didn't expect that his fiance wouldn't be back home that night.
