Chapter 133 - A SMALL JOB!
Chapter 133 - A SMALL JOB!
PRECAP
"Big deal will be next time if I see you lurking anywhere near here or her."
Kian threatened, leaning down to spill his words right onto Nathan's face. He just chuckled and that annoyed Kian more but before he could react, Tinsley ran to his side, sat down on the ground and held Nathan's head on her lap.
Kian was taken aback by his wife's action. She examined Nathan's face for any further injury.
"I m so sorry!!! He..."
Kian dragged his wife with him, leaving the crowd and Nathan to fend for themselves.

"Sell it. "
'What??"
He stood up, not believing what she just said. She was offering her locket, her last piece of neck jewellery to sell it and pay all those bills with the penalty.
"It will pay all of our bills with the penalty."
"Look, Tinsley...I thought I could get back on the market and business right away but could not and now we are running out of resources...we could not forever go on living like this..."

"Damn Girl! Why did you not tell me about all these right away?"
Madison squealed and Tinsley give her a look asking her to calm down. People were starting to give them stares by then in the cafe.
"Sorry!"
Madison gave a child like smile, apologizing. Tinsley shook her head, narrowing her eyes at her.
Ever since she got back with Lana , she was always so excited and happy. It was a good thing but it caught attention of others.
"Did people video the entire fighting thing? I would so love to watch it."
Madison proposed. She was aware of Kian's temper. So it was really not shocking to her that he would react that way in a situation like Tinsley narrated it to her.
"How will I know if people would do that?? It was not funny ok...it was scary!"
Tinsley said, looking away. For a time, she was afraid that what if Kian would end up injuring Nathan badly and got arrested by the police??
It was that reason scared her most. So she ran towards Nathan to help him up and be by his side because then Kian would not be able to hit him anymore.
"Oh common! Joy kill! Real life fighting scenes are always so fun to watch."
Madi concluded, sipping the cappuccino from her cup. It was a failing attempt to make Madi understand what and how she felt.
"I...uh...I was afraid that people would call police, you know in case I had not gotten in between him and Nathan...it made me so scared..."
"Hey...hey stop..."
Madi mumbled, holding Tinsley's hand on the table to give her comfort.
"...I have already incurred him so many loses...from making him to leave his career, cutting off ties with his only mother figure...no matter however bad she was to me...she loved him..."
Tinsley continued and Madi could feel her pain, the anxiety. It were all true. Kian indeed left everything for her and it would be something that Tinsley would never get over that it all happened only because of her.
"She was no good to him, Tin...she was controlling his life, dictating it...he was never happy like he is with you now...I can guarantee you that."
Madi let out. She had been involved with the Wilsons for over a decade so she knew how things were between Valeria and Kian.
"She loved him like her own son..."
"Then she would have never disowned him the way she did...even snatching away things that he built solely all by himself. "
Madi stressed. She was there when he worked day and night, not sleeping or caring to eat to take Wilson Oil to the heights it had reached by now.
His dedication for work compelled Madison to work harder too and it was no wonder why she became the most hardworking personal assistant for the corporate world, every billionaire boss wanting to have an assistant just like her.
"He sacrificed his dream to help her sustain her husband's legacy. If not for him, Valeria would be in your place right now...I could only wish back then I urged him to start up his own firm instead of toiling only over that oil business."
Madi sighed. From everything that Madi was narrating it was clear of how much she wanted to help Kian back on his position that he always had deserved.
And it was in that moment, Tinsley felt more bad, realizing he was once again giving up on his dream to support them...support her.
"And now he is doing it again...leaving it all aside to support the household."
Tinsley's eyes watered. Madi looked up at her, not understanding what she was saying.
"What is he doing ?"
Madi questioned, narrowing her eyes.
"He took up a job...hacking one."
"Why would let him take up one?? Tin??"
Madi implored. Starting a business venture from scratches was not easy at all. And added to working for other would make him more constraint and delay the time in starting his own firm.
"I did not let him, ok! He confessed that he took it up when we ran out of money and only told me today after the fight..."
Madi rolled her eyes at the piece of the information. It annoyed her. She could have helped them. Why did they not ask her?
"He did say that it did not need him working around the clock when I complained about it..."
"You could have just asked for help from me?"
Madi interrupted Tinsley in the mid way. She could have helped them...hell she was there for them for every kind if help they needed. In return, all she wanted was for Kian to think and build.
"You know...he will not ask help from you."
"I know! I know that his ego is too big to let him do that but you could...you could have just give me a damn call!"
Madi sassed, raising her eyebrows at Tinsley. It was that simple. She wanted to state.
"And what would I have told him??"
Tinsley implored. Madi knew that one would not be simple.
"We would have figured that out together!"
"Yeah...figured out that together?"
Tinsley rolled her eyes. Madi too looked away. Both sipped on their coffee in silence.
"Regardless of everything, you should know, Tinsley, I would aways be here to help you guys...its not a big deal...tell Kian that he could pay me all back later with interest..."
Madi offered. Tinsley shook her head, making Madi look back at her.
"Its not about helping us...I know, Kian knows that you will be here for us in just one call..."
"Then what is stopping you both guys?"
Madi intervened. If they knew that then what was so difficult to give her a call??
"Its not that but at some point, we both need to own up...work for ourselves without expecting someone to help us in running our own household."
Tinsley asserted. Madi just gave her a long sign not liking what she just told at all.
"My only regret, if only if I could help him too...work you know? Contribute to running the house alongside him.."
Madison nodded, understanding Tinsley. She thought of where or what kind of job would be suitable for Tinsley.
"Wait...you can bake cakes or stuff like that and sell?"
Madi let out to which Tinsley started thinking and it made sense. But who would buy from her??
"If you could really do it then I could look up people to whom you could sell it."
Madi offered and it made Tinsley hopeful. Maybe she could finally help him...her husband??
"Or maybe you start baking for me?"
Both Tinsley and Madi turned around to look at Agatha, the old owner of the Cafe, standing by their table.
"Forgive me, I was not eavesdropping at all...I just happened to serve the next table and heard about baking. My baker just left for another job this morning."
The old woman, stepped in, seating between Tinsley and Madi, dragging a chair from another table to their table.
"So if you would like, bake for me??? Your husband won't mind either I know working here at all."
The offer seemed tempting and Tinsley glanced at Madison for her opinion to which Madi only closed her eyes, indicating to take it, accept the offer.
"I will take it, Agatha!"
Tinsley answered, making the old woman happy. It was delightful news for both the party.
"Excellent! I will go get coffee for you girls for another round to talk about salary and stuff."
The old woman squealed and stood up, going away to get them coffee. Madison and Tinsley chuckled at that how joyous the old woman seemed.
"Look who got a job just now!"
Madi exclaimed. Tinsley smiled. She had never thought that in her life she would ever work but here she was...hired. Even though it was a small job...it was a starting!
