Paige and Joseph left the hospital together and returned back to the car.

Paige sighed heavily and said, "Do you know why my father was chasing me away?"

"Was it because he couldn't scold you while I was there? Chasing you out would be equivalent to chasing me out as well!"

"That's just one of the reasons. Another one is that if we leave, he could call his mistress and her daughter to come to accompany him."

"Really?" asked Joseph.

"Yes. To him, I'm the disobedient and rebellious one. That lady and her daughter are sweet and gentle. I'm betting that he is going to say things about me later."

Sophia and Isabella rushed to the hospital as soon as they received the phone call from Liam.

Joseph put his hand on Paige's shoulder and said with a smile, "I've asked Bobby to take Paige's seat. Help yourself and take a seat!"

Lucas sat down, but he felt that Joseph's smile meant something else. He continued to stay in his seat, as he was filled with guilt about what he had done.

The plane rumbled as it took off from the runway. Lucas felt a bit uneasy as time went by.

Joseph was arranged by Hayden to go to Australia. At the same time, Paisley was also on her way to Australia. If she knew that Joseph brought Paige along with him, it would be extremely awkward.
