Chapter 2330

The energy enveloped him, and he disappeared without a trace.

James could feel his vision blur. When he reappeared, he had arrived at an unknown place. The pile of rubble had vanished, only to be replaced by picturesque scenery.

Looking at the mountains and rivers before him, James breathed a sigh of relief and murmured, “Finally, I’ve left the Divinity Sect. Now that so much time has passed, I wonder if the Demon Race has made a move against the Welkin Academy and the Ancient Clan.”

“Hmm I wonder how Melany is doing at the Welkin Academy…”

At that moment, he thought of Melany, the woman who saved him when he first arrived at the Ancient Realm.

He planned to head over to the Welkin Academy for now to have a look.

Then, he hurriedly left and headed in the direction of the Welkin Academy.

He traveled for a few days. After completely leaving the region of the Divinity Sect, he opened the Celestial Abode and released everyone inside.

“You are safe now. Return to wherever you came from.”

James said,

“Thank you for saving my life, James.”

“Thank you!”

“I’ll remember what you did for me.”

Many left after thanking James.

Soon, only Quintina and Harold remained.

Harold looked at James and asked, “Are you not returning to Earth, James?”

James shook his head slightly and said, “Not now… I’ll return once I’m strong enough. When I return to Earth, I’ll annihilate the Divinity Sect’s Sect Elder.”

“In that case, I’m heading to Earth now.”

Harold lifted his head and looked at the fissure in the sky in anticipation.

Then, he looked at James and said, “Regardless, I owe you my thanks. If not for you, I’d have been killed at the Divinity Sect. I’ll head over to Earth and wait for you there. I can never forget our battle at Mount Walvern. Survive this and return to Earth. One day, I’ll defeat you.”

Harold was confident. He was a Grand Supernatural who had never been defeated by anyone.

James could tell that Harold was not a wicked person. He thought about it and said, “Upon your arrival on Earth, do not leak any information about me to anyone, especially the Divinity Sect. If possible, head to Wyrmstead and find my wife, Thea Callahan, and tell her that I’m safe and sound. Remember, tell only Thea and no one else.”

He trusted Harold. Though he missed Thea dearly, he could not return at the moment. As such, he could only request Harold to bring her his word.

Harold nodded and said, “Sure, I’ll convey your message to her.”

Then, he leaped into the air.

Under James and Quintina’s watchful gaze, his body entered the fissure, and he disappeared from their

view.

After Harold left, James looked at Quintina and asked, “Aren’t you going as well?”

Quintina was wearing a green dress. Her curvaceous figure and delicate features only served to accentuate her beauty. Glancing at James, she asked, “Why? Trying to chase me away now?”

“No, you’re mistaken.” James smiled bitterly and said, “I mean, why would I? I’m planning on returning to the Welkin Academy to have a look. You might drag me down if you follow me.”

Quintina pursed her lips. Though she was a Grand Supernatural, she was now a burden to James. Only he would dare such a thing in this whole wide world.

“Th–Then, I’ll just enter the Celestial Abode.” Quintina lightly brushed the scattered black hair on her shoulder, her glamorous face blushing. She said, “I–I immediately hit it off with Delainey the moment I entered the Celestial Abode. I’ll chit–chat with her inside and maybe even cultivate following Sophie’s guidance.”

While Quintina was inside the Celestial Abode over the past month, she had grown increasingly familiar with Delainey. She also now knew of Sophie’s power.
