Chapter 446 Half Dead
Chapter 446 Half Dead
?
The sheer force of the Mana Cannon's blast struck Aion like a relentless tempest, engulfing him in an unforgiving torrent of energy. The impact was akin to a mighty gust of wind, ripping through the surroundings and displacing everything in its path. Aion's body was thrust backward, carried by the unstoppable momentum of the blast.
In a matter of seconds, Aion was propelled across the landscape, hurtling through the air at a breathtaking speed. The force was so tremendous that the distance between their previous battleground and Aion's new location spanned dozens of kilometers in mere moments. The world around Aion blurred into a chaotic blur as he traversed the vast expanse, a testament to the raw power unleashed against him.
Aion's senses were assaulted by an intense and overwhelming heat that seemed to seep into every fiber of his being. It was as if his very essence was being consumed by an invisible inferno. Waves of scorching energy coursed through his veins, causing his skin to prickle and his muscles to convulse uncontrollably.
As the searing intensity intensified, Aion's body felt as though it was being liquefied, his form losing its cohesion and structure. He could feel his flesh turning molten, trickling and melding like wax under a blazing flame. The boundaries between his physical self and the surrounding environment blurred as if he was dissolving into the very essence of the fiery onslaught.
Each breath he took seemed to fuel the inferno within, stoking the flames that raged throughout his body. The pain was beyond measure, a torment that transcended the limits of his endurance. Aion's mind screamed in agony as he struggled to retain a semblance of control, his thoughts, and emotions melding with the searing heat that consumed him.
The mana cannon was showing no signs of dissipating… so Aion had to do something before he collided against the mountains and was crushed to death.
"Sorry, Arlana… I will compensate you for this," Aion said and then enveloped his sword with mana and then stabbed the mana cannon.
A blinding burst of light, radiant and incandescent, engulfed the surroundings, illuminating the darkness with a brilliance that defied description. The shockwave rippled outward, unleashing a violent tempest of energy that sent debris hurtling through the air like shrapnel.
The explosive surge of mana expanded in all directions, a roiling torrent of power that surged forth with unrelenting force. The sheer intensity of the explosion created a shockwave that flattened everything in its wake, reducing structures to rubble and scattering them across the landscape like discarded toys.
The air crackled and shimmered with the raw power of the unleashed mana, its tendrils reaching out like ethereal fingers, touching and distorting the very fabric of reality. The blast wave rippled through the atmosphere, carrying with it a surge of scorching heat and a whirlwind of debris.
The force of the explosion carved a massive cavity in the earth, gouging out a crater that seemed to stretch on for miles. Dust and debris billowed into the sky, creating a dense, chaotic cloud obscuring the once-clear horizon.
The sheer scale of the explosion was awe-inspiring, resembling a mountain erupting in a cataclysmic display of power. The shockwave reverberated through the land, shaking the very foundations of existence and leaving an indelible mark on the landscape.
When the explosion happened, Aion escaped to his pocket dimension, where he found his father and the others there. He wished that he could greet them properly, but his entire body hurt like hell; he was emitting more steam than a bonfire.
"Aion!" Lexus shouted.
"Hey, I guess a few hours must have passed to you all already…" Aion said while forcing a smile. "Just give me a few more… and then I will bring some snacks."
Aion's sisters worked hard to heal him, but his body was a mess, filled with attack mana that was fighting back against their spells. Weirdly enough, there was no blood, and the wounds were emitting a blue glow.
Lexus clenched his fists tightly, his expression etched with a mix of concern, frustration, and determination. Deep within his heart, he yearned to rush to his son's aid, to lend his strength in the face of adversity. Yet, he knew all too well that his presence would only serve as a hindrance.
His eyes flickered with a blend of emotions, a father's love and a warrior's instinct warring within him. He understood the gravity of the situation and the importance of allowing Aion to face his own battles, to grow and overcome the challenges that lay before him.
Lexus fought to restrain his impulsive urge to intervene with every fiber of his being. He knew that this was Aion's fight, a pivotal moment where his son's true strength and character would be tested. It was a crucible that Aion needed to face alone to forge his own path and discover his own power.
"I should get going. Vangel will grow bored without me… just a bit more time, and I will be able to rescue those three, and then I will cut his head for good," Aion said while he was getting up.
Although he said while looking as confident as ever, Aion didn't pass much confidence. Vangel had the power that not even the elemental giants could wield easily… they could destroy a mountain or two, but it would take time. Vangel just destroyed several mountains with that Mana Cannon. He probably already was at the level of Tenenbres, while Aion had to fight alone.
The explosion had already dissipated when Aion returned to the outside. Still, the mana was as dense as it could be… Aion concentrated on absorbing as much as he could, but it was hard.
As the massive explosion of mana subsided, the air crackled with residual energy. Small lightning bolts danced through the atmosphere, their ephemeral glow illuminating the darkened sky. Each bolt carried a trace of the potent mana that had been unleashed, charging the air with electric fervor.
