Chapter 343 343: The Sapphire Temple IX
Chapter 343 343: The Sapphire Temple IX
?
Cole was really beginning to like being in charge. He imagined it must be really cool to just point at a group of enemies and say things like; kill them all and then close to a hundred extremely powerful individuals would go up against a force that was of similar power rank as them, and outnumbered them at least 4 or 5 to 1.
There were a lot blue goblins here after all. Never the less Cole caught them all off guard. The goblins had numbers while the Flame nation had strength. It kept them in check as no one could make any moves without assured mutual destruction.
Then Cole came over and became what would break the tie between both forces. He had the lesser numbers and was considerable strength. But it was not anything that was more than what the Goblins or flame nation soldiers had. In fact he was never even worthy enough to be in a stalemate with them, he should have just been suppressed.
But instead he was foolish enough to charge at not just one but both groups. Such an act of sheer stupidity would most definitely be something that would a person shocked. So not a single one of the goblin or flame nation camp reacted in time...until Raens started popping up in within their ranks.
Moving with movement skills or just basically any teleportation skill of which it seems a majority of the Raens have. And then literal arms started busting through armor and pulling goblin and flame nation spines out. Shit go real, and fast. Cole rushed forwards, aiming for the flame nation general with the gold accents.
The man was waiting for him as his spear smashed into a hammer. There was a shock wave that pushed them backwards away from each other, going as far as to disrupt the fighting between the Raens and the others. But that was not enough to slow Cole down.
Eze stood back with the rest of the Raens that had gone a pure mage route. Projectiles of different sizes and forms began to find their way into the goblin and flame nation army. As none of them were ready for the attack, the Raens had gone with some of the biggest skills or spells they had access to, making sure their opening Salvo had caused as much damage as possible.
[Spectral Rover]
Pushed Cole forwards as he appeared in front of the Flame general. He spun the spear in his hands, sending the head biting down at the generals shoulder in rapid movements. The general was barely able to keep up with Cole's speed as he slammed his leg into the ground, causing a lance of fire to shoot up.
Cole skillfully moved to the side and stabbed out with his spear just as he evaded the lance that was aiming to split him in two. The General used his hammer to block the strike, but Cole at the last second raised the [Gravity] of his spear to obscene levels, even he couldn't hold on to it for long as he even caused it to extend further.
The force behind it smashed into the hammer, which promptly smashed into the face of the general, flinging him up into the air as he crashed into a group of fighters. The Raen's there were there smoothly slid out of the way, almost as if they had eyes at the back of their heads.
Cole chuckled, [Sin Seeking] eyes was most definitely too much of a cheat skill to have access to. He stepped back, evading a saber strike from the side as the force of the strike pushed the person forwards. It was another general, though the accents of this one's armor were purple and not gold. Cole grabbed the back of his head and smashed his face into the floor in a show of speed that left some people gawking.
[Sin Eater]
The golden corona rose up as Cole drew I the essence and life force of the person he had just killed. As for their soul, he watched impassively as his spear gobbled it up. He grunted and stood up, smashing apart a river of flames that were rushing in his direction.
The river however changed shaped and turned into a massive dragon made entirely of flames. Ir released an earth shattering roar that drew the attention of almost every last person on the battle field. The temperature began to raise as Cole slammed his staff into the ground whilst simultaneously creating a barrier of spinning gravity and throwing a huge deluge of Chaos energy into it.
[Bristlecone Pine Reverie]
[Chaos Style: Singularity]
This was shorter than his first iteration of this move, but this was more potent. A lot stronger than Cole could have possibly envisioned. The black hole swallowed the flame dragon as the thousand meter tall shadow of a tree rose up to the sky, releasing a wave of healing energy as the rest of the enemies under the shadow began to loose their vitality and energy.
It was like feeding a bear cocaine, just like that old movie. It was one thing for the Raens to be as dangerous as they already were, but this skill seemed to whip them up into a frenzy. It was like watching a cloud of locust eat everything in their way without slowing down, and being so fast they were nigh impossible to catch.
It was rapidly becoming obvious to the flame nation and the goblins that the only way to survive these pests was to probably band together and try their hardest to push back against Cole and his people. But honestly it wouldn't make much of a difference.
Both camps while keeping up a pathetic display of defense converged in the middle, hoping that their combined might be enough to stave off the onslaught of Raens and the evil they were wreaking among their ranks. Cole did nothing but watch impassively as both camp coming together was finally enough to hold the Raens at bay.
"Surrender now or we will end you! We have come together, stay back of the overwhelming might of our combined forces with tear you to pieces!"
"This Hob Gob says stop!" Cole smiled as he responded. "This Raen says no MERCY!"
