Chapter 344 344: The Sapphire Temple X

?

The shadow of Methuselah was still hovering over the battlefield. Its duration wasn't that long, but as long as there were still enemies on the battlefield, the tree would keep on absorbing their vitality and sending it back into Cole and his allies. So in the end no matter what was said or done….it still ended up a massacre.

Cole watched as Raens fell upon flame nation soldiers and blue goblins. He was sure there was a story to thee two races being here, but ultimately Cole did not give a shit. There was always a story behind every race, or person he had met through out the entirety of this event.

It didn't matter much to him, and he did not think he ought to care, not unless you got in his way just like they had did. But then again Cole was pretty much domineering in the way he had taken total ownership of the treasure that were left. But if you ask him he was being quite civil when he told them to keep what they had already gained.

This new reality, even before this whole event was known to be preparatory period before their universe gets consumed by an all powerful system. Earth and the human race as a whole has always been a race where the term might makes right was the deciding factor in how things were dealt with. As long as you had power, there pretty much wasn't anything you couldn't do or get away with.

They challenged Cole without the power to back it up, and as such they had to pay the consequences. Cole watched impassively as a slew of golden Corona lit the air up as Raens feasted on the stats and energy of their enemies. Cole was in no rush though. He wanted them all to get as strong as they could possibly be, because with a united front, they would be able to tackle quite a few things.

Of course this did not mean he would be running around with people following him, he was building a force and base that would ensure his survival in this new world order. Ultimately if he had to be honest, none of the Raens meant much to him other than a source of power, no matter what the stories tell you, one man can not go up against the multiverse.

"Eze after they're done eating, they're allowed to pick treasures that will fill fifteen inventory slots. No more no less, the rest would be requisitioned for the territory. You can gather all of it in one side, and pick someone you can trust to deliver it back to the glade once we're on the sixth floor and have access to the third floor. After that we will move on after a 30 minute rest, let's hurry up."

Eze nodded to Cole as he moved to the side, Cole on the other hand moved until he was at the end of the hall. Thankful the damn thing had not shifted scenes like it had been doing when they had first arrived here. With all of the goblins that had been slain, along with the flame nation, Cole could feel that at least all of the Raen were at Gold Rank VII. Which was saying something about such a force moving from floor to floor causing problems.

[Master Is this a good time to Intrude?]

Cole raised an eyebrow as Morgan's voice resounded in his ears. "I am having a bit of free time right now Morgan what is it?" Cole asked as his AI began to respond to him.

[11 Dungeons have been discovered on Earth with multiple races streaming out of them to make outposts in the dungeon's vicinity. Some of them have started taking violent actions against humans, being at a level and strength that not many humans can match…..entire cities have been decimated.]

The moment Cole heard that it felt as if an explosion had gone off in his head. Was he too late, he already knew that the 5th floor would make it possible for dungeons to be seeded on earth and other races and forces in the multiverse would use it as a pathway to get to earth and establish a base as they all attempt to claim the planet and much of its resources for themselves.

[Others have tired to establish diplomatic relations, and while some of the Intergalactic Terran Council are receptive of such relations. Others a wary, giving that the death toll in the last 6 hours has been in the millions.]

"Morgan since you can access much of my data, I need you to check for every new member of the Glade. Find them wherever they are and  collaborate with Tehila to send transports and bring them back to earth or to the territory we have purchased for ourselves as quickly as possible. I will return as soon as I can to see dungeons on earth that would establish a connection to the second floor.

Also have her get a construction company to begin renovations, I want as many of those apartment complexes fully functional before the end of the week. Probably one of those company that rely on automated robotics and AI to carry out Construction as quickly as possible.

If it's possible, have her purchase the damn company and work them all to the bone. We can pay well. We've run  out of time. Is there anything else I need to know?" Cole said to Morgan as he started to pace, making it obvious to every Raen present that Cole had a lot on his mind.

[As a matter of fact yes sir. First the Council has issued a mandatory summons to every Aspirant on earth and out in the cosmos. With the current threat that humanity is facing they are aiming to cobble together a force of defenders as quickly as possible. They have threaten to have accounts frozen and severe embargo  placed on Aspirants who refuse the call.

And finally master, I am happy to relay to you that I have finally cracked the algorithm…..I can now attempt to build a machine that can transport a person to and from the soul realm. What would you have me do master?] Morgan asked as Cole turned to look at the Raens who had gathered around him much to his shock.

"Start running structural simulations, and when you are at least 200% sure of the results, let me know what you need and start building the damn thing. At the rate this is going…..We can no longer afford to play fair!"
