CHAPTER 646 SOMETHING TO SAY

Bracing himself, Terry picked up the fruit knife from the coffee table and slit his wrist.

He had to be one step ahead of Dianne in case she would finish the job instead.

“Argh!”

A harrowing shriek ensued.

Blood slid across Terry’s fat arm.

Terry made a grimacing face from the stabbing pain.

“Is… Is this up to your satisfaction?”

Breaking out in a cold sweat, Terry’s eyes widened in horror as he asked Skylar.

“Beat it! Don’t forget the warning. I don’t want to see your face again!” Skylar yelled.

“Consider it done. I’ll leave right away, and I won’t ever step foot in Sconvia City again!”

Terry was thankful to be alive since it was a narrow escape.

With Ryan dead, Andrew losing his wealth, and Terry punished, Skylar had no more reason to remain there.

He took Dianne to leave right there and then.

Terry and Andrew could breathe relief once Skylar’s ride was long gone.

At least, they survived to see another day.

“Mr. Pearson, the boy made you lose an arm. Are you planning to just let it go?” Andrew sounded Terry out.

The resentment overtook Andrew’s every being.

Not only did Skylar kill his son, but he also forced Andrew to donate away most of his assets. The world was not big enough for the both of them!

“Let it go?”

Terry applied pressure to his wrist with a towel before hissing through gritted teeth, “No way.

“I am Terry Pearson, the face of status and influence. I have never been so humiliated.

“Your life is mine to take, Skylar!”

Although he did not expect that of Skylar today, the Pearsons were big leaguers.

The family had connections and power.

Besides, Terry heard that Ezra Kent had plans to avenge his grandson.

If Terry were to join forces with the Kents, Skylar would become no threat!

Not to mention, Terry was backed by Kley City’s Pearsons and Nirth Commerce.

It would not take long before Terry would make Skylar regret sparing his life today.

Lola greeted Skylar by jumping at him the moment he entered the Lucas Manor in Floccessy Tower. “Daddy, you’re finally back!

“Mommy bullied me. She drew Santa Claus’ beard and mustache on my face. I look awful!”

Skylar looked down and saw the stain of red lipstick smeared across Lola’s chin and nose bridge.

The girl looked kind of adorable.

Skylar nearly burst into laughter.

“Why did Mommy give Lola a Santa Claus beard and mustache?” Skylar asked while holding back the laughter.

“I competed with Mommy in a game of hopscotch. Mommy drew on my face every time I lost.”

The little girl vented, “Daddy, you have to compete with Mommy for me and draw on her face!”

“Haha, okay! I want to see Mommy with a Santa Claus beard and mustache too!”

Skylar was in stitches at this point.

Yulia rolled her eyes at Skylar and haughtily said, “Well, I’m not going to compete with you.”

“Huh? Why not?”

Skylar did not understand where that was coming from.

“How am I supposed to beat you? I don’t want to have a beard and a mustache on my face.”

“Erm… You did the same to your daughter though, Dear.”

Skylar was caught between tears and laughter.

“No. She’s a child, so anything looks good on her. I’m an adult. You can’t compare us both.”

Yulia spoke as if she was in the right.

Skylar and Lola exchanged glances, at a loss for what to say.

Yulia had a point…

Still, something did not seem right…

Just then, Clara arrived at the residence.

Instead of entering the house, she stood at the door and shouted, “Can you come out for a bit, Skylar? I have something to tell you.”
