Book 2: Chapter 11 (8/11)

Ursula immediately healed Kimaris using an Earth Magic spell named [Healing Vines] as she walked toward Kimaris to help him get up from the ground. Kimaris then carried Ursula to fly up, leaving injured Kain to remain idle two hundred feet below the ground.

“What is this? I can’t move my body at all. My body… my body is turning into stone.” Kain thought to himself after feeling every inch of his body turning from flesh to stone. “My [Abyssal Flesh] can’t even heal me now. Such powerful Earth Magic…” Kain smiled as he activated [Bloodlust] then casted [Sanguine Tide] to dispel whatever magic spell that was turning him into stone casted by Ursula.

Kimaris and Ursula landed on the ground and saw all demons and twelve other Demon Lords have fully exterminated. His demon army was also struggling to fight back, but Kimaris knew their fate of being exterminated had been set. Kimaris shook his head in disbelief and said, “He is remarkably powerful. Much stronger than I have imagined. To be able to kill twelve Demon Lords and their demon armies, Kain Bersk isn’t just another Blood Mage.” josei

Ursula asked, “Do you want me to transform back into a scythe, my Lord?”

“You are my wife. You don’t have to call me Lord all the time.”

“You are my owner. It doesn’t matter if we are married or not, I will always call you my Lord. Should I transform?”

“No. This battle is over. I have lost.”

“How so? You can still fight and I will help you.”

“The moment you transform back into a human, it made me go against my vow of fighting alone with Kain Bersk.”

The conversation between Kimaris and Ursula was interrupted by Kain as he flew from two hundred feet below the ground and landed in front of them heroically.

Kain said, “I thought Ursula was just a weapon. I didn’t know she is a human.”

Kimaris shook his head and said, “She is no longer a human. Ursula is my Soul Weapon.”

“Soul-Bound Weapon? Like my Diamond Ice Spear?”

“Don’t compare your useless Ice Spear against my Ursula. Ursula is a Soul Weapon, not a Soul-Bound Weapon. She was alive before her soul was bound to my scythe and became a Soul Weapon that has a pure existence to only serve me.”

“Damn… You took her soul and forced it into your scythe? That is messed up dude.”

“Ursula and I fell in love and were secretly married during the time she visited Hell Realm. A Demon Lord marrying a human is prohibited. That was why one of the Devils killed Ursula to punish me. I used my power as the Demon Lord of the Thirteenth Gate to seal her soul into my Soul-Bound Weapon which turned her into a Soul Weapon that only I can use.”

“Wow… so drama. Anyway, I have no interest in learning about your personal problem. Alright, I will just have to kill you both then.”

“No need to keep our fight going. I have lost already. I have vowed to fight you alone but Ursula transformed to help me-”

“F**k your vow! I want a fight to the death. First Peanut, then Tim Vydia, now you? F**k that! There will be no surrender this time.”

“How can you defeat me if Ursula is going to help me out in her human form? She is a level 100 Earth Mage. My defense is absolutely powerful. If I get benefits from a level 100 Earth Mage, there will be no way you can break through my defense.”

“Do I look like I give a shit about that? Let’s continue our fight. Ah right, looked around you carefully.”

Kimaris and Ursula looked around. They were too focused on observing the demons’ corpses lying on the ground while they couldn't find any Demon Lord which meant they were killed and transported back to Hell Realm. The demon army of the Thirteenth Gate was fighting strongly against the Steel Golem Knights and other conjured creatures. But now, they paid more attention and could see Finwe, Lazela, Imreia, Furcas, Fyre, and Aerlix were approaching toward their direction.

Kain said while smirking, “Who is the one that outnumbers now? Let me check real quick. Oh yeah, I still have more than forty Magical Blood Equipment left. All of my health pools and mana pool are also fully recovered. You on the other hand are heavily injured. And Ursula… she is just a level 100 Earth Mage. Both of you will now feel the anger of my wrath!”

Kain commanded all of his conjured creatures including Finwe to attack Ursula while he focused on fighting with Kimaris. Kimaris created a lightning spear to continue his fight with Kain. Less than thirty minutes later, both Kimaris and Ursula were defeated. Kain’s original intention was to humiliate Kimaris by attempting to break his fighting spirit of being the strongest Demon Lord through torturing him slowly to death. But after hearing the love story of Kimaris and Ursula and seeing how Kimaris admitted defeat because of breaking his own vow to fight Kain alone, Kain changed his mind and decided not to do it.

Kain thought, "Kimaris is full of courage and honor. I won't destroy his reputation."

Kain allowed them to die with honor by letting them committed suicide. They won’t truly die though but were just forced to be teleported back to Hell Realm after killing themselves. After that, Kain and other conjured creatures teamed up with the Steel Golem Knights to defeat the demon army of the Thirteenth Gate as well. The only way to kill a demon, Demon Lord or a Devil is to travel to Hell Realm to kill them. Similarly, the only way to kill an angel or Archangel is to travel to Heaven Realm to kill them. This was why all the demon corpses lying on the battlefield here will soon disappear as they were revived and teleported back to Hell Realm.

Two Devils were fighting equally in terms of physical power. Black-hair Kain and his conjured creatures were standing idly to watch the battle. They were not powerful enough to interfere between two Devils fighting with each other. Kain’s physical strength was higher compared to Evienne, but her speed was faster compared to him. However, their battle had lasted for too long and the exhaustion started kicking in on Evienne's stamina. Despite Evienne’s dual ice swords having successfully injured Kain many times, all of his injuries were instantly healed shortly after that. And now, Evienne could no longer keep her speed up like when the battle first started while Kain still has thirty-six Magical Blood Equipment left to let him continue carrying this battle on for much longer.
