“What kind of battle is this? I can’t see a thing.” Both Urien and Jael asked themselves while attempting to watch the fight between Kain and Xenos. Due to [Enclosing] spell casted by Xenos was too powerful, it created a tornado-like barrier that blocked even outsiders from watching.

Kain attempted to use his self-created Saint-tier Vampire Lord’s spell of [Magic Annulment] but Xenos’s Magical Resistance was high enough to block it. Kain was expecting that would be the outcome because if Xenos can’t even block that spell, then this battle will be very boring.

Kain swung his Silver Flaming Scythe at Xenos. Xenos blocked the Scythe using his leg as it burned through his flesh. But all the burning injuries were instantly healed as Xenos activated his passive ability [Cure] before fighting with Kain. Xenos then kicked five times toward Kain’s stomach, forcing him to use the Scythe to block it. Xenos raised his right hand as he casted [Vampiric Clench] attempted to choke Kain using his psychokinesis power. Kain activated [Sanguine Tide] but it wasn’t strong enough to block Xenos’s [Vampiric Clench]. Kain was then forced to activate [Haze Mode] to transform himself into vapor for five seconds in order to be granted immunity to all types of damages. Similarly, whenever Kain used [Vampiric Clench], Xenos would activate [Haze Mode] to get out of trouble. After several failed attempts from both of them, they came to a mutual agreement of not using [Vampiric Clench] anymore and focused on fighting physically.

Six hours of battle had passed. After using all six blood pools of the six Magical Blood Stones embedded on his Magical Robe. Kain was forced to tap into the blood pool of his Blood Ring. Forty more minutes passed. Kain checked the blood pool inside his Blood Ring and thought, “Forty percent left. I have to be more aggressive. It looks like Xenos hasn’t been exhausted yet. He is supposed to have only eight blood pools and four health pools. I wonder how large each blood pool inside his stomach is.”

Kain activated [Second Soul] and [Soul Bridge] spells to make a clone of himself as well as calling upon Finwe to help him out. Due to the [Enclosing] spell casted by Xenos was still active, Finwe and Kain's Second Soul were placed outside of the barriers. Without any kind of explanation, Finwe withdrew his long sword and activated the [Thunder Step] spell as he flew toward Kain’s Second Soul.

Kain thought to himself, “Ah, I could see Finwe’s limit now. So, he is a level 80 Thunder Mage and a Seventh Stage Saint Warrior.” Kain then activated the [Soul Mate] spell to instantly boost Finwe to match Kain’s current power which was level 85 in magical power and strength to be on par with an Eighth Stage Saint Warrior.

Xenos sensed hostile subjects were trying to interfere with the battle between Kain and him. He smirked and said, “I sensed that you have summoned powerful subjects to help you out. But no one can break through my [Enclosing] spell.”

Xenos was about to mock Kain again but Kain’s Second Soul and Finwe have already appeared inside the radius of Xenos’s [Enclosing].

“There are two of you? Wait, how did this eagle creature get in?” Xenos asked with both of his eyes widely opened.

“[Teleportation].” Kain gave a short answer as his Second Soul casted [Vampire Lord Transmutation] to transform into another Vampire Lord.

A one versus one battle quickly turned into a three versus one battle. Kain quickly gained the advantage of dominating while Xenos was forced to go on the defense mode. Even so, they still couldn’t defeat Xenos. Kain checked his Blood Ring again and thought, “Ten percent left. If the blood pool inside my Blood Ring reaches depletion, I still have a Blood Pendant. But if this keeps going, I will lose. Despite dominating the battle, Xenos still doesn’t show any sign of exhaustion. How long can he actually last in combat? I have to be even more aggressive to finish this battle as soon as possible.” josei

Thinking so, Kain casted [Summon Demon Lord] and Sizouze, Demon Lord of the First Gate was summoned. She immediately joined the battle while Kain’s Second Soul chanted for more spells. About three minutes later, Kain casted [Conjure Phantom Leech] and [Conjure Ice Gargoyle General], two self-created Saint-tier Conjuration Magic spells he had recently created.

The Phantom Leech can recover its health by attacking enemies and Ice Gargoyle General can cast up to Master-tier Ice Magic spells. Both the Phantom Leech and Ice Gargoyle General have physical strength on par with tenth-tier warriors. But because of Kain’s current level, their levels were scaled to harmonize with him which boosted both of their physical power to First Stage Saint Warriors.

If compared Phantom Leech and Ice Gargoyle General to Xenos, they can’t even last even ten seconds against him. But if Kain’s Second Soul continuously conjures as many of them as he can, it could be very annoying especially when Xenos already has to defend against Kain, Finwe, and Sizouze. After conjuring forty Phantom Leeches and twenty Gargoyle Generals, Kain’s Blood Ring was depleted and he had to start using the blood pool inside his Blood Pendant. Kain’s Second Soul joined the battle again while still having his Vampire Lord form. Kain's thought about letting his Second Soul convene vampires, but those vampires won't be strong enough to last even three seconds against Xenos so it's better to save the blood pool of his Blood Pendant.

Despite showing no sign of exhaustion, Xenos couldn’t endure fighting with more than forty enemies at a time. Xenos begged as he continued to defense, “I yield! I yield! I admitted defeat. Please spare me.”

“Okay.” Kain smiled while he and his creatures continued to attack.

“I surrendered! Shouldn’t you stop?”

“Okay.”

“I will allow Urien Hyde to take his wife, Lady Belinda Argent, away from here and promise not to track them.”

“Okay.”

“Why didn’t you stop yet?”

“Because it would be more enjoyable to annihilate you.” Kain smiled.

Whatever must happen, will happen. Kain swung his Silver Flaming Scythe to cut Xenos’s head off as Finwe stabbed his long sword into Xenos’s stomach from behind. To make sure Xenos can’t recover from this, Kain's Second Soul, Sizouze, the Phantom Leeches, and the Ice Gargoyle Generals repeatedly struck their weapons all over Xenos’s body to cut him to at least a hundred pieces. Kain's Second Soul didn't have a weapon because he was using the strength of his fist.

"So it was true. If I cut his head off, he can't heal himself anymore. Seems like being a Vampire Lord still having a better advantage." Kain thought to himself.

“Please stop!” Jael yelled out loud. “I needed the Emperor’s heart.”

Kain immediately gave the commands for his creatures to stop as he went over to look for the Vampire Emperor’s heart. To Kain’s surprise, the Vampire Emperor’s heart was completely unscratched despite Xenos’s body being torn to a hundred pieces.
