Chapter 1182

When they arrived at the villa, Jonathan pulled over and opened the passenger door. He took Estelle’s hand and led her towards the villa.

Years ago, Estelle had imagined that Jonathan would suddenly show up at Villa del Sol.

And over the past two years, Jonathan had also thought countless times that he would bring Estelle back to this place.

So at this moment, the scene that had once appeared in their minds, although it was their first time coming back together, felt like they had been through it many times.

When Wilma and Mr. Wagner came to open the door, they were both taken aback.

What thrilled them was that Estelle was back!

What surprised them even more was that she was back with Jonathan. When they saw the two holding hands, Wilma felt like she was dreaming. Estelle smiled and asked, Wilma, don’t you recognize me?”

“Ma’am, you’re back!” Wilma blurted out excitedly, then greeted them with a big smile, “Jonathan, ma’am!”

Mr. Wagner also stood aside, greeting them respectfully.

Upon hearing the commotion, Estelle looked towards the lawn and saw Milo and Max running towards them.

Milo ran faster and reached her in the blink of an eye. Jonathan instinctively shielded Estelle, but she broke free of his hand and ran towards Max. After two years of absence, Max showed no unfamiliarity

with Estelle. It barked excitedly and tried hard to jump on Estelle.

Estelle almost got knocked over. She hugged its neck, and her face was filled with laughter.

Jonathan’s face darkened a bit, and he suddenly felt less important than a dog.

Sensing his mood, Wilma quickly said, “Max was raised by ma’am. Of course, it has deep feelings for her.”.

Jonathan felt a bit embarrassed to be caught being jealous of a dog. He thought to himself that, although he wasn’t there for those three years, Max was brought back by him, and Estelle was his wife. No matter how close they were, it was all because of him.

Thinking about this, he felt a little better.

Wilma happily said, “Stay for dinner, Jonathan and ma’am. I’ll start cooking right away.”

“Alright,” Jonathan replied, “She loves your cooking. Make some of her favorite dishes, and make them lighter. She can’t eat too spicy these days.” Wilma, not knowing Estelle was injured, thought it was Estelle’s period. Seeing Jonathan being so considerate and their relationship so good, she felt even happier and quickly nodded, “Okay, I got it.”

Mr. Wagner chuckled, “I’ll go buy some pastries, ma’am.”

“Alright.”

After agreeing, Jonathan went toward Estelle.

He was worried that Max would touch Estelle’s wound, so he went over to block it, then took Estelle’s hand and said, “Go play with Milo.’

Max sat there, whimpering at Estelle. It probably didn’t understand why it couldn’t get close to Estelle.

Milo ran over and started rolling around with Max. The two dogs immediately started chasing each other.

Jonathan smiled, thinking that Milo, just like him, knew how to handle things.

Estelle was in a great mood; even her eyes were filled with joy. “When did Milo get here?”

“After you left, I brought Milo with me the second time I came to Villa del Sol,” Jonathan replied.

Estelle nodded in satisfaction, saying, “Good, so he won’t feel lonely.”
