Chapter 1972  The Lord Of Madness.

These two universal artifacts reminded them of their incomplete universal artifact and why it needed a Supreme law. However, other universal artifacts were not created by chance like it.

In fact, universal artifacts are not common in the cosmos at all. They require special circumstances and conditions before they can appear. But universal artifacts are common in the void universe because, according to what was comprehended from the seed of chaos, the creation of universal artifacts is something unique to the lord of Madness. It is because of his rare and powerful aspect of Madness. The more they comprehended from the seed of chaos, the more they were enlightened about many things that they had taken for granted.

They learned that madness is not a state of mind. It is the insanity of the world. It is the breaking of rules. Someone would be called mad because their way of thinking doesn't align with the way of the world around them. They think and act differently from socially accepted norms and rules. But what if someone could force their way of thinking on the world? Will they be the mad one then, or will everyone else be mad for not conforming to the new rules of the world?

That is what the Aspect of Madness is. It is breaking established rules and forcing others to follow their rules. The Aspect of Madness is part of the Supreme Law of the Lord of Madness. But the reason why he became the Lord of Madness is because he found a way to fuse a supreme law, a spark of power, and a spark of consciousness together. The seed of chaos doesn't contain the Supreme law of the Lord of Madness. It only contains information about the aspect of Madness. This information included the abilities of the aspect of Madness and an explanation of how it works. With the aspect of Madness, the lord of Madness can hijack someone else's supreme law and implant his own codes or rules into it.

He can turn a being into a universal artifact for his own use. He can also enslave powerful beings and turn them into his subordinates for all of eternity. Only his death could free such subordinates from their eternal servitude.

He can create his own rules within the world of another being and even gain control of the world for his own use. This way, there can be two Supreme laws in a world or universe.

With Madness, he can use his rules to turn the owner of a world into a captive of that world. It shouldn't be possible, but the lord of Madness can do it. It shouldn't be possible for a world to have two supreme laws working together, as one of them should destroy the other, but it is possible with the lord of Madness. Of course there will be repercussions for doing this. One Supreme law must be subdued and forced to suffer. The suffering would be so bad that the owner of the Supreme law would wish they were dead. This answered a lot of the questions they had had ever since their encounter with the progenitor. It also made them admire the Lord of Madness. There was even a particular statement in the seed of chaos that resonated with them deeply. It was, "If they say it is not possible. If they say you are out of your mind to think of something. If they say you must be mad to try something. That is when you know that you need madness. That is where I am."

"I am where Madness is needed. I am where the Madness is at. I am with the Madness. I am the Madness. I am not the lord of madmen. I am lord of all men because of Madness. I am the lord crowned by Madness. I am the lord of Madness."

This revelation made them exclaim. "Wow."

All of them said that. Then Legion-2 said, "Just wow."

Legion-4 tried to say something. All he could manage was, "I mean wow."

Legion-5 tried to say something different. He said, "It all makes sense now. It is marvelous."

They just kept saying wow because they were impressed by the feats that the Lord of Madness managed to accomplish.

A lot of things make sense to them now. Now they know why the primogenitor was dying. They know why he wasn't the will of the void universe despite occupying the same body. They know why he wants to die and why he can't die. They also know why the void universe rewards rule breakers. They believe it is because it is encouraging them to break rules, but they don't know why it wants them to break rules or why it will punish rule breakers after they become world gods. They have gotten a lot of answers and acquired even more questions, which took them a long time to sort out. More questions were produced as they learned more about Chaos and its relationship with Madness. Apparently, Madness takes advantage of Entropy to create chaos energy. But Madness can't control Entropy.

The lord of Madness could do this by combining the spark of power, soul, and wisdom. But it wasn't enough for him to control Entropy. So the lord of Madness used the Supreme law of chaos to create the path of demons in order to learn how to control Entropy. How he hopes to achieve control of Entropy through demons and why he wanted to gain control of Entropy is still beyond them. Unfortunately, they can't get answers to that question anymore because apparently, the Supreme law of chaos has been corrupted somehow but not by the Lord of Madness, which is weirder. It is usually the Lord of Madness that corrupts a Supreme law for his purpose, not the other way around. Also, his Supreme law should have disappeared after he died. Yet, it is still around.
