Christopher's face sank, and he signaled the two reporters not to say anything. However, those two reporters were bent on getting away from him and were not afraid of his threats.

One reporter said to Kelvin, "Mr. Case is the one who told us to write about Mrs. Kooper faking her pregnancy."

Kelvin's expression changed slightly. "And then what?"

"He then asked us to add fuel to the fire by writing about Mrs. Koopefs viciousness and her framing Sharon for her miscarriage."

"Mr. Hoover, don't you think Mr. Case is putting us in a difficult position? Mrs. Kooper was indeed pregnant, and Sharon did cause her miscarriage. So how can we cover this up?"

"Besides, the Kooper family are now in grief and anger. If we write a false story, we'd only be asking for trouble. So Mr. Hoover, please help us talk some sense into Mr. Case."

"Kisa was not pregnant. She admitted it herself. She set Sharon up," Christopher said indignantly.

The two reporters ignored him and shook off his hand. Just then, the lab report Christopher was holding dropped to the ground. Kelvin picked it up in puzzlement and was startled when he saw it. "Is this Kisa's blood test report?"

'Oh my God, was Kisa really pregnant? But she clearly told me she wasn't pregnant. When she was brought to the emergency room last night, she only faked a miscarriage by tying several bags of blood to her stomach. But what about this lab report?'

None of the three said anything. Kelvin looked at them. "Kisa came to take a blood test herself? But isn't she still weak in the hospital ward?"

"Weak?" Christopher snorted. "She is not weak. There is something wrong with this test. She is definitely not pregnant."

The reporters rolled their eyes at Christopher. One said to Kelvin, "Actually, Mr. Case took us to take the blood samples from Mrs. Kooper's arm by force. Please plead with her for us later. Tell her we're sorry, and that we were tricked into this."

Christopher tried to chase after them, but Kelvin stopped him. Putting the lab report in his pocket, he looked at Christopher. "Uncle Christopher, what is going on? Kisa is your daughter, too. Have you ever considered her feelings?"

"Did she consider my feelings as a father when she did this to Sharon? She was the one who was heartless and ungrateful in the first place."

Kelvin shook his head speechlessly. He now truly believed that the Case family was really treating Kisa terribly. Even Christopher, her biological father, treated her that way. Not to mention Carolyn, the stepmother.

"Kelvin..." Christopher suddenly tugged at Kelvin's arm. "You were the one who gave Kisa the emergency treatment last night. You know best if she was faking her pregnancy. Tell me she was faking her pregnancy, wasn't she?"

A flicker of thought came to mind, and Kelvin coughed to clear his throat.

"Uncle Christopher, just accept the fact that Sharon has caused Kisa's miscarriage. You can't defame and slander Kisa just because you unfairly favor Sharon. Besides, Sharon did indeed make a mistake, and she deserves to be punished. So don't waste your time. She will only serve three to five years in jail at most."
