Chapter 1062 I Wanted to Make Her Jealous

Kisa did not sleep the whole night. She was sitting by the window staring outside in a

daze when her phone rang.

Her phone was on the coffee table.

She glanced at it and saw that Kohen had sent her a message.

She confusedly frowned.

She had not been in contact with him for a long time. ‘Why did he suddenly send me

a message? Is it an emergency?’

With doubts, she hurriedly opened the message.

Suddenly, she saw a picture.

She was stunned for a moment.

She could see that Gilbert was surrounded by a few young, gorgeous ladies in the photo. The ladies were toasting at him. At first glance, it felt like Gilbert had many

concubines with him.

Kisa stared at the picture for a long time. She then calmly leaned back in her chair. She barely showed any expression.

She did not reply to Kohen even after a long time had passed.

Perhaps, because of that, Koen sent her another message. [Did you see the photo? How do you feel?]

Based on that text, it seemed like Kohen wanted to gloat about what was going to happen.

Kisa pursed her lips, and she quickly replied to him.

[Oh, I see. He went on a business trip to your place! He looks like he’s having a lot of fun. I’m glad that you’re there to take care of him. You guys have a nice time.]

Kohen froze for a second when he saw her reply.

‘Why didn’t she become hysterical and ask questions?

‘Why isn’t she jealous at all?’

Gilbert stared at Kohen in a chilling manner.

He noticed Kohen’s action when he took a picture of him.

He coldly said, “You took a photo of me. Who did you send it to?”

Kohen shrugged his shoulders. “I didn’t send it to anyone. I just wanted to keep it as a memory. If I remember this photo someday, I could send it to my group of friends and show them.”

It seemed like Gilbert could tell Kohen’s intention. His eyes were frosty.

“Don’t you dare send it to Kisa.”

Kohen would not admit that he had sent it to her if Gilbert did not say that.

But after Gilbert said that, Kohen simply threw his phone in front of Gilbert. He then said with a calm face, “I already sent it to her.”

“You!”

Gilbert glared at him. He did not bother to scold him. He hastily went to see the conversation between them.

They did not chat much.

He could finish reading the conversation in one chat page.

But, Gilbert looked worse after he finished reading their conversation.

He tightly pressed his lips together as he returned the phone to Kohen. He then

picked up his alcohol and drank every drop of it.

When the beautiful ladies beside him talked to him or toasted him, it was like he did not hear them. He ignored the women completely.

The ladies unsatisfyingly looked at Kohen.

‘Didn’t he say that Mr. Kooper had a fight with his wife? And that he wanted to divorce her?

‘Why does he look like he’s hurt by love and isn’t willing to break up with his wife?’

Kohen waved at them to ask them to leave.

The ladies grunted unhappily. But, they still got up one by one and left.

After they left, Kohen stared at the man who drank alone across him. He chuckled, “I sent her the photo of you and the ladies on purpose. I wanted her to get jealous. But, who’d have thought that she seemed like she didn’t mind at all.”

“You’re such a nosy person!”

Gilbert grunted. He was suppressing his emotion as he said that.

Kohen casually leaned back. He sneered as he said, “I’m a nosy person?! When you looked at my phone, you seemed quite worried, nervous, and… Looking forward to reading the conversation.”

“Shut up!”

Gilbert moodily growled.

But, just when that happened, there was a noise and commotion in the middle of the party.
