Davian clenched his fists tightly, and his eyes were red. “What about all those nights before? Why did you keep bugging me then?”

“Because it was fun at the time.” Felicity pulled her fingers through her long hair and sneered, “Didn’t you keep saying I was bugging you? Are you trying to deny what happened that night? Yeah, well, I think it’s pointless. We’re over, Davian. From now on, I’ll treat you like we’ve never met before.”

“Felicity!” Davian suddenly grabbed her arm and yelled. There were tears welling up in his eyes as if he was about to cry at that moment.

Felicity was annoyed when she saw that. ‘I like tough guys, not guys who cry!’

She pushed the man’s hand away, disgusted.

“Go away! Never come near me again!”

After she finished yelling, she followed Ronald into the car.

Davian watched as the car sped away; his eyes were so red that it was like he was crying blood.

Felicity stared at the pillar-like figure from the car’s rearview mirror without blinking.

She took a deep breath; her eyes bloodshot red and she said, “What’s the use of coming to me now? This type of man deserves to be single for the rest of his life.”

Ronald shook his head amusedly and asked, “Would you consider giving me a chance, then? Hmm?”

Felicity was taken aback for a while.

“Stop playing around. Didn’t we agree to just be bros?” she responded.

“Yeah,” Ronald smiled disappointedly. He could not figure out how he could not compare to Davian.

‘Maybe I’m not her type,’ he thought.

Kisa suffered from insomnia the whole night, which caused her to wake up late the next day. She had promised the director that she would go on set today, so she hurriedly finished her breakfast and rushed to the set. It had rained all day yesterday, but it was sunny today. The sun’s warmth felt good in the cool weather.

Madalyn watched Kisa drive away in her car and quickly took out her phone to call Gilbert.

“She’s gone. I think she’s going to the set. Can you arrange for someone to follow her?”

“No, it’s okay. I’ll just go to the set and look out for her.”

“Alright.” Madalyn put down her phone, looking worried. ‘Sigh. I wish my precious great- grandchild can be born soon so I wouldn’t have to worry all day long about their mom not being careful enough.”

Kisa was saying her lines with the male lead on set when she suddenly saw Gilbert walking in from the corner of her eye. She was in a daze, and the director yelled, “Cut!”

“Focus, Kisa. We only have a few scenes left. Let’s try to finish filming in these two days.”

Kisa smiled apologetically at the director and said, “Sorry, director.”

She was distracted.

The director was still wary of Gilbert, so he did not blame or scold her. Instead, he just waved her off and said, “Okay, let’s have a break. I think you’re getting tired. Let’s take five.”

Kisa walked over to the visiting area and stared at the man in front of her as she said, “Why are you here?” The man’s face looked a little tense, as if he was in a bad mood. “Do you have to come to set and film?” It turned out that he was mad at her for coming to set. “Yes, I finish the things I start. There are only a few scenes left. I want to finish filming, or else I’ll feel bad,” Kisa replied seriously.

Gilbert did not say anything. Instead, he just nodded. “Okay, then I’ll be here until you finish filming the show.”

“No, no, no. There’s no need for that,” Kisa quickly waved her hands and said. ‘You’ll only be distracting me,’ she thought. Gilbert stared at her and said, “If you don’t want that, then you’ll have to stop coming to the set and just stay home and rest.”

Kisa’s face darkened, and she immediately stopped talking. ‘He’s threatening me again!’

“Wait here. I’ll go grab some water for you,” Gilbert blurted. He then walked to the break area to pour Kisa a glass of water. Kisa was staring at his back mindlessly when she suddenly heard a familiar voice behind her…
