Chapter 1305 Unreasonable

“Have you gone to see Ms. Mullen? How is she? Can you do something about her legs?” Kisa asked.

“Well…” Kelvin felt a cold gaze staring at him, which made him panic.

“What’s the matter? Are things not looking up?” Kisa could not help but feel anxious when she saw Kelvin’s uncomfortable expression.

All of Kisa’s attention was focused on Kelvin; it was as if Gilbert was not there. Kelvin felt the gaze getting colder and colder down to his spine.

“Well? Talk, Kelvin. Is there something you could do about Ms. Mullen’s legs? Kelvin? Kelvin~?”

In an instant, Gilbert narrowed his eyes in a dangerous look, and his body emanated a sinister feeling.

Kelvin rolled his eyes without a word, trying to signal Kisa. ‘God, Kisa. Why are you suddenly calling me so affectionately? Also, can you please get your man out of here before we get down to business?!”

“What’s wrong? Did something get into your eyes?” Kisa could not help asking when she saw him roll his eyes.

Kelvin wanted to cry out loud at that moment, but he could not. He glanced at Gilbert and asked Kisa, “Can we talk privately?”

“Privately?” Kisa was taken aback. She then quickly realized that Gilbert was still in the room. Should you go out, or should I go to Kelvin’s room?” she asked.

Gilbert leaned forward as his hands slowly tightened around the magazine. Slowly, one of the pages was crumpled in his hands.

“It’s okay, Kisa. Let’s let Gilbert stay here, and we’ll go to my room,” Kelvin said quickly when he saw that Gilbert was on the verge of getting mad. However, just as he finished saying that, Gilbert stood up abruptly, kicked the chair he was sitting on earlier, and silently walked toward the door.

Gilbert’s hostility frightened them both. It wasn’t until the man was out of the room that Kisa asked Kelvin in a low voice, “What’s up with him? Did he wake up on the wrong side of the bed or something?”

“Who knows? His temper is eccentric, and he’s becoming more and more unreasonable!” Kelvin snorted depressingly.

Kisa raised her his in agreement, “Yeah. He’s getting more and more unreasonable these days. Like, I’m not exaggerating; but he hasn’t been in a good mood the past few days here. He always looks gloomy, like someone owes him a million bucks or something.”

Kelvin kicked her foot suddenly. Kisa was stunned for a moment. “What? I’m really not exaggerating. His face looks gloomy every day. Ask Davian if you don’t believe me.”

“Shhh…” Kelvin blinked at her again and shushed. Kisa did not understand what he was trying to say, so she continued, “Besides, we’re at someone else’s place. It’s rude of him to look so glum all day long, kicking things here and there as he goes. Why in the world is he-”

‘Oof.’ Before Kisa could finish her sentence, she felt a chill down her spine. She frowned and looked at Kelvin. Kelvin held up the glass of water and took a long sip with his head lowered.

Kisa then turned her head in suspicion. ‘Aah!’ She yelled to herself in her heart when she saw a tall figure standing behind her. She did not know when he showed up, but the extremely dark expression on his face and the look on his brows were so terrifying that none of them dared to breathe.

Kisa lowered her head in silence, turned around, and shrunk her neck back like a turtle. The man walked to where he was sitting earlier and bent down to grab his phone from the coffee table.

“You guys continue. I just came back to grab my phone. Go on, continue.”
