Chapter 873 She Disgusts Me

Madalyn looked at Gilbert, wide–eyed in shock.

Kelvin thought that he was lying, but he did not say anything.

“Finding the guards in Hillsby was just a part of my plan. I bribed them before

bringing Kisa there. I even hired some killers and set up some traps along the way just to make her trust me.

“Otherwise, do you really think that I and her would make it out alive if the killers were real? Hmph. They were only some actors I hired to fool her.”

Kisa felt very cold as she stood outside.

The ran through every part of her body as she shivered.

Madalyn looked at Gilbert suspiciously.

She furrowed her brows and asked, “There’s something I don’t understand. Didn’t you already know that she set you up, but didn’t hurt me? Why would you still do this to her? That’s so unnecessary.”

“I only sent her to prison back then because I thought she was the one who did all the bad things, and I hated her so much for it. However, I came up with another way to get back at her after knowing that she didn’t die.

“Later, I found out that she was innocent, and I was planning to leave her alone. However, Jensen just had to come back and mess with my family and take GK away from me after that.

“Hmph. I know that Jensen likes her, so I’m just using the woman he loves against him. I believe that this is going to work really well.”

Madalyn looked at him strangely.

“This doesn’t sound like you at all. You wouldn’t do something so cruel to her.”

“Heh. Why wouldn’t I? Have I ever loved her?

“She disgusted me so much back then, and seeing her always annoyed me. She became someone that I absolutely hated to death, but now she’s just a pawn I’m using against Jensen. I’ve never liked her, let alone love.”

Gilbert smiled faintly as he said that. His tone sounded cold, and he looked merciless.

Kelvin felt a flash of terror after hearing what Gilbert said.

He had no idea what was happening anymore. He did not know if Gilbert really hated

Kisa or not.

That was because Gilbert’s tone and expression turned out to be so real, that Kelvin found it difficult to not believe him.

Madalyn kept her silence for a while as if she was still processing Gilbert’s words.

Then she asked him, “Are you saying that everything that you’ve done is just to make her fall in love with you and trust you so that you can use her against Jensen?”

“Yeah. It was the best way to do just that.”

Madalyn stared at him. She did not know if she should believe what Gilbert told her.

Gilbert suddenly sat beside Madalyn and held her hand. Then, he said with a smile, ” Grandma, you shouldn’t joke around with your life anymore. It would be a shame if you really lost your life because of that woman. I’m glad that you’re fine. I was so worried about you.

“If you don’t want me doing this to deal with Jensen, I’ll just stop it and cut that woman off entirely. However, you’ve got to stop doing things like this. She’s just a tool, but you’re the most important person ever to me.”

Gilbert looked very scornful and disdainful when he talked about Kisa.

Madalyn could not help but tremble inside.
