Chapter 57 - -56<Cullen Estate-5>
As Terumi barked out orders, the people in the cave started getting up and started getting out of there. Then after everybody had left, only three-person were left in the room. One was Arvin himself with Terumi and the other elder sitting beside Terumi.
Then Terumi got from her seat and said "We will talk in my office." ??
Then she started walking towards the hidden passage beside the stone chairs. Arvin and the other man just followed her from behind.
The passage beside the stone chairs was comparatively clean. It was not wet like the one from Arvin came from. This passage was neat and clean. At the end of the passage was a normal wooden door. Terumi walked towards the door and opened it and went inside. Following her Arvin and the other elder also went inside.
As Arvin walked into the room, he was greeted with a large and cozy room. This room was cold if compared to the hallway outside. In the middle of the room was a sofa set to sit down, while all the sofa set was facing a fire pit in the middle of the room. Just by the sofa set there was raised platform on which a large study table was kept, And behind the study, a table was a tapestry which depicted the scene of the jungle in which the king of the jungle, the fierce bird was glaring at us. It was the same picture that was delicately carved on the door of the study table of the old man whom Arvin met earlier today. And just opposite the room was another bar.
Terumi went to the bar and started pouring out some drinks for herself. After she had poured out a drink for her, she started speaking…
"So let's hear it. What is your grand plan?" Terumi asked Arvin.
"You want to know what my grand plan is?" Arvin asked. He was now stuck in a very difficult situation. He didn't have a plan. Now, what was he supposed to do?
"Yes. Tell us about your marvelous plan."
"My plan….. is….. Aaaa… kill me." Arvin said from frustration. But later he realized that he wasnt suppose to say that out loud.
"Kill you?" Terumi asked. But it was then, Arvin had a very great idea.
"Yes. You have to kill me." Arvin said with confidence.
"Are you listening to this guy? Am I the only one that doesn't get what he is saying?" Terumi asked the other elder.
"When I get out of this room today you will act like that you are very angry after listening about my plan. If someone asks then tell them that my plan was very shitty and it would not have worked. It was full of holes and it was bound to be unsuccessful if it got carried on." Arvin said.
"Why?" The other elder asked. Arvin ignored the other elder and continued narrating his plan.
"Then my body will be found in an alley in the inner city. To make it more suspicious I will die near Josh's house so that it could be easily be found by our men. If the investigation is called about my death, you will say that you ordered my assassination as my plan was bogus and I was not backing down."
"So you are truly willing to die?" Terumi asked.
"No. I said that my body will be found. I never said that I will be dead. So after my death, I will handle everything with another identity. This way no one will be able to trace back my plan to you guys."
"But how will you fool our guys. They would know that this body is a fake one." The other elder asked.
"Leave that to me. I have a body ready that could fool anyone." Arvin said with a smirk on his face. This way he would also able to dispose of the old man's body as well as he would be able to know Josh's house location.
"But still you didn't answer my original question. What is your plan?" Terumi asked.
"I can't tell you that," Arvin said straightforwardly.
"Why? You don't believe I am loyal enough to the Cullen family?" Terumi asked.
"It doesn't matter what I think. The only thing that I know is that this plan is very essential. Lesser the people know about this plan, the more will the chances that it will become successful." Arvin said.
"You don't trust me?" Terumi said.
"From where you get the idea that is up to your imagination. Now let's come to things that I will need before I go. As I recall that I was going to retire in few days. So I would need…" Arvin was cut off in the middle of his sentence.
"You want your severance pay. That would be arranged." Terumi said. But Arvin was not going to say that.
"Yes I want my severance pay, but I will need more things than that. I want our faction to help me with that." Arvin said.
"You are doing a very great thing for our ghost faction. We will help you in any way possible." The other elder said.
"Good. I would need just a few things….
1>I would need a new set of battle gear. All black. Make sure that you make it this way that no one will be able to know my identity.
2>I would need a location near Josh's house where I will dump the fake body.
3>I would need that mana stone bomb that old master was talking about. I would only use it if I have no other option left.
4>Since the instance my fake dead body is found, I will only be in contact with a Corgan bird that I have trained personally."
"Well, all your requests are within our capabilities. It could be done." The other elder said.
"One more thing, could you make or give me a battle gear from upper floors?" Arvin asked.
"Woah… That could not be done. You know the rules, those types of things are only for the echelons of the Cullen family." The elder said.
"Well as I will be in deep undercover, I would like a disguise which would not convey the message that I belong from this floor. After all, my plan may have me fooling some people from upper floors." Arvin said nonchalantly. Arvin was testing whether he could scheme these people of the ghost faction to give him some good things…
[Father I got to say. Your apostle is just like you. Even if he is a general piece of that monster.] Hela commented.
{Yeah. I am proud of my disciple/apostles.} Loki said.
'…' while Arvin was thinking back when did Loki teach him scheming.
[But still. With his brains not only did he found the location of the old man's house he also gathers enough supplies for his quests. Now only the time will tell how much he would be able to accomplish in his quests.] Hela said while seriously impressed.
{Eh?} Loki said. He was confused about what was Hela talking about?
[What?]
{What are you talking about?} Loki asked her.
[I am talking about the quests that I gave him. Duh… With that bomb he will be able to complete his quests in no time.] Hela said.
As Loki heard that his brain was fried. He thought of Hela being her daughter and all will not give Arvin some missions as they were in a hurry. But he never directly said anything to her about this. He just assumed that she would have understood that. But now he could see that he had made a very big mistake. Arvin as well as Loki have no idea about the quests that Hela had given out and the most terrifying thing was that they did not have any idea about what will be the penalties if he didn't complete the missions.
Arvin who just bargaining with Terumi when heard the conversation between Loki and Hela started feeling multiple emotions at the same time. Anger, confusion, and frustration were the major emotions that he felt. But still, he didn't let those emotions come over his face. As he had now reached a very critical part of the discussion between him and Terumi.
"You will give that battle gear as soon as the mission is done. Did you understand that?" Terumi said
"Yes. I understand." Arvin said.
Arvin was successfully able to convince her that he needed that battle gear if he needs to hide his identity. Because if people on upper floors ever saw him, then that battle gear will help him hide his identity. They will assume that maybe he is from the upper floors. Thus it will never occur to them that he could be from the 1st floor.
As they all agreed on their arrangements, the other elder brought a map of the inner city and marked a small alley in that map. According to him, that place is near Josh's house and the people of the ghost faction constantly patrol that area. Arvin could use that alley to dump his body. As that is a very secluded alley, it was a guarantee that only the people of the faction will find the body and no one else.
