Yulia's heart ached when Shane cried, so she handed some tissue to him and said, "Grand… Grandpa, mom died more than ten years ago and besides, you're not getting any younger, so you should just take care of yourself. "Nice to meet you, great-granddad. Please cheer up." Lola greeted Shane.
Hearing this melted Shane's heart as he stared gleefully at Lola and said, "Oh darling dear. You really are our family. You are just too beautiful now. Come now Lola, let me hold you for a moment."
"Daddy?" Lola hesitated since this was her first time meeting Shane. It seemed that she would always ask Skylar what to do whenever she had no idea what to do in a situation. She seemed to have made Skylar her pillar of support without her knowing. So, Skylar gently patted her head with a smile and said, "Go ahead honey."
Lola nodded and headed straight toward Shane.

After playing with Lola for a brief moment, Shane looked up and told Yulia, "Things were quite tense between me and your mother back then, Yulia. But, let's not talk about who's right and who's wrong. Instead, there is something that I really need to tell you." Shane paused for a moment and continued, "You know, our family business started dividing shares not long after your mother left. I'm pretty sure that things were hard for your mother back then and I was sure that she would return home if things got too difficult for her. So, I kept eighty-percent of the company's shares for her. But she never returned home…. This is why I will be transferring her share of the company's stocks to you. It doesn't matter if it's to make up for my guilt, I just want you to accept it regardless."
A loud gasp could be heard as soon as Shane said that. "No grandpa! You can't do that! We won't agree to that!" Jordan and the others rushed in as soon as that was said.
